They're called Nephilims in other fiction, plus Sin already coined it. Also can be called hybrids or affectionally called Freaks by the locals I'd like to think.

Thats not right... I looked it up. It's holy sons of nobles and stuff like that. Not suns and daughters of both angel and demon.

I did a bit of googling (cough cough TvTropes) and that actually sounds about right Smew. It would be more accurate to call half Humans-Angels Nephilim than our hybrids. They were only referenced twice in the bible, and arent exactly explained all that well. I only know the term from Diablo, where they use it for the hybrid player character. Where'd you hear it from DontBeTrippin?

I just did a whole not of reserch on Moon and Shadow in different languages. Oh wait! I'm gonna do some one eclipse! Be right back! Again....
Ok done! I've got six good ones of moon. And their languages. And three of shadow and eclipse. That makes 12 to pick from. Ready for me to list them?
Reasons for moon. Moon kinda stands for both dark and light.
Shadow. Same with shadow. It's just light that has darkness over it. Ya know what I mean?

Hey Smew, is it safe to say Volana is making slight expressions as she's having these telepathic conversations with the Crystal? Or do you want to say she's very skilled at keeping it hidden? I didnt want to assume before mentioning it.
It's safe to say she has an expression. She's not the most expirienced RT.

I think the Crystal and Feather are separate, at least that's what I got from reading:
'Where are you anyway crystal?' 'In an ally, but otherwise I have no clue. I may be a a magic crystal, but I don't have any senses wider than yours.'
She wouldn't be asking where the crystal was if it was in the same alley as her (The feather is in the same alley but near the entrance close to the soldiers) I could be wrong though

Sorry to say but you are. Volana and the crystal speak to each other through mind telekinesis. They can only do it with each other. The crystal was NOT in the same ally as Volana, but a different one.
Goooot it. I thought Volana just hadnt turned a corner to see it. But then yeah, it would have said it was on the street if it were the feather...
