Due to the urging of a few friends on the site, I decided to open up my art slots to do some original characters for you all.
I am a "professional" art designer working within a game development group among other things. Whilst I plan to do bust drawings, I'll gladly fully colour each image.
I'm unfortunately going to limit this to three at the moment due to work life and other issues.
Quick note, whilst I did say I'd do OC art, I'm mostly looking to do some background/scenery work if anyone is interested.

Since you pointed out you'd like to be doing background / sceneries mostly, I'll be extremely glad if you would help me with artwork regarding some London-based victorian steam punk / steam fantasy airship sky pirate thingy?
I'll give you lots and lots of further detail on this, but I just wanted to ask if you would be interested in doing this at all Since I understand that this seems to be loads of work and time, I thought I'd ask rather than request, because it's you offering your work and time and me being bold enough to ask for something special 
Soo~ if there would be a chance you'd like to try this, we can discuss this, I'll send you character profiles, note, references, and we could talk about what you need to feel comfortable regarding your own ideas and "creative freedom" and such.
Of course I won't feel offended if you don't want to, because it really seems very much to ask for.

Old dusty cozy library setting for this guy would be fantastic. Either that, or something Titanic themed. He was onboard when it sunk, and it's an important event in terms of character development.

I don't think I'm really on your level, but I'd like to get there. Do you have any thoughts on where to go to git good with painting quickly, but also nicely smooth skintones as in your example? The closest way I know how is to cheese whiz it with a soft round and a smudge brush, but there's got to be a better way.

I don't know if my background would be something you'd wanna try and tackle or if you have any space open, but my character Rhys surrounded by stuffies, or a bed in the background that is 'cute' would be out of this world.

I have a drawing iv been wanting for years... a drawing of Celtic as a child asleep in her Mentor/best friends armors as he carried her threw a snowy forest as it snowed hard, after saving her from falling threw thin ice. It was an adorable moment in Celtics Past that I just want immortalized in a picture... I cant draw people to save my life no less an Alien *Kel Dor*

well if you open up slots again, some scenery/background art for one of my fantasy or sci fi worlds could be amazing.
I compulsively world build so I have a LOT of worlds but suck at drawing "things".
There's the Aketi who are a highly technologically advanced race of plant people who live in these sorts of sky scrapers amongst the trees, sort of like metal and stone and glass fake trees with roof terraces and plants all over them.
The Vavare who are giant spider people who live in cities made of webs and platforms amongst giant redwoods, herd oversized aphids, ride centipede-like creatures and live in fear of the giant "man eating" hawks that circle above any clear area.
The Kevali who are a subterranean race of carnivorous humanoids who's home planet is a desolate volcanic desert world with black sand and a hazy grey sky, with 2 suns.
The Kalvair who are a primitive race of farmers who make a meager living from their arid homeworld and have excellent irrigation tech.
the Imperium who are human looking, highly militaristic, forward thinking people who inhabit a large number of lunar colonies around a hostile central planet. They have schitzotech, as in, the tech level fluctuates wildly across the colonies with some still basically at a victorian level but with modern tech stuck in. So they have horses and carts, but water purification systems, solar panels and space ports.
They live mostly in massive walled settlements to keep "the monsters in the woods" out.
