Hello! I have been RPing for over ten years now, I was hooked on Gaia.online for a long time. Life has been pulling me in all directions lately and I'm hoping that if I do this, it'll help me relax and hopefully make new friends!
Welcome! RPR has proven to be a fairly laid back place to chill even if you're not immediately able to RP, which is nice. I've found some of the OOC groups are a great place to pop by and share various hobbies, and the general forum is good to chat and peruse possible RP ads.
If you want to hop in ASAP, the trick-or-treat threads in the General RP forum can get you seeing how your character might bounce off of others. I think these threads are really low-maintenance--they're icebreakers and the theme only lasts until Halloween, so there isn't really long-term pressure.

Hey there! Welcome, though I'm new too. I used to hang around Gaia back in the day looking for RPs, too. Though I always preferred PM to forum. I'd always loose the thread. lol But things look pretty organized here so here's hoping!!

If you ever get lost, there's lots of good information in the Help forums, and this site is full of friendly helpful people so don't be intimidated out of asking your RP partners for help, too! If you don't feel like browsing through the forums to find an interesting RP or through the groups in this community, I reccomend using the Find RP tool. It's pretty good at narrowing down your search into similar topics.
If you ever get lost, there's lots of good information in the Help forums, and this site is full of friendly helpful people so don't be intimidated out of asking your RP partners for help, too!
