Before anything, I must be honest with you. I don't really know what I want to rp (Arine, Rosewood and/or Ruuri are who I currently want to find an rp for). I see so many topics and think, "I would like that, but..." After the but tends to be, "What if I'm not good enough?" But, I digress. So, here is what I think I have in mind.

Arine and Rosewood are currently at the local Fighter's Guild in a small village named Torra, though Rosewood is more just attached to Arine currently. They are in need of some coin, so they are asking about available quests that are "easy for novices", in which the receptionist hands them an envelope and says with a condescending smirk, "The client said this is just a simple fetch quest, he wants someone to recover a lost item of his. Seems no one is interested in such a menial task, so it has been here for a few days, but the client is paying well."

Arine opens the envelope and begins to go over the details of the quest:

-The item was lost within the mountainous region to the North-East of Torra

-The item was lost inside a large cave 3/4ths of the way up the Eastern most mountain, having of fallen into a large pit

-The item in question is a simple bauble that appears to be a glass sphere with thin gold decorative bars wrapped around it both horizontally and vertically and a needle inside that rotates freely

Strangely, the client's name and contact information were left out of the details. Arine went to ask the receptionist, but all he said in reply was, "He left the reward here with the details, so we will pay you when you bring the lost item here."


Well, that's the basics of it. I was thinking that your character would have knowledge of the area in which the quest takes place it (From rumour only, not personal experience) and wishes to join the two in their quest up to the place after over-hearing them or your character could be a well-seasoned veteran who wishes to assist them. Options are open.

Spoilers: It is far more dangerous than a simple fetch quest.

Rules:
-Of course no god modding/super op characters, that's a given, but given my experience you all are sweet rpers who respect this
-OOC Dice rolls will be needed to determine the outcome of attacks, magic casting, sneaking, certain events, etc.
-With dice rolls, you will be given a +/- dependent on what you believe your character's skill is in whatever it is they are rolling for
-Any race/species is allowed, so long as you are not like, 15 feet tall or a spirit/ghost (I can be lenient on the spirit/ghost part)
-The era uses sword, shields, bows, magic, etc. So no guns, blasters and such
-Not really a rule, but we can discuss if we'd like to have a limited amount of spells cast without rest

I am looking just for 1x1 rps and I don't mind post length, so long as there is something there to work with.
