Hey! I’m looking for a solid, fantasy RP to hop in. Does any one have any suggestions or is willing to start up a fantasy RP?

Well, I don't have a specific plot, but I do have Adriel that I didn't use for a long time, who is perfect for a fantasy RP

Let's start a group! I was thinking of starting a topic like this. If you want backstory, we can brainstorm quickly. I have a few characters I'd choose from, you all can state a preference. I have a merchant drow, a wizard drow and a human female archer I'd like to use.
I'm also working up an antagonist race made up of blue orcs. But maybe we could make it slice of life for the most part. Still, these bluorks could be in the background...
What size group are you thinking? 4 is always good. 3 could work. I'm going to read over your characters quickly..

We're going to need a forum, of course. PM's are messy in groups, because we'll want to scroll up to read what someone wrote 3 posts earlier.. With the posting order and all.
A planning PM could be good, we can also brainstorm here. For example.. I'm bringing Pluvio, instead of Aydr.. I think... He's more action oriented. Aydr would be ready to sit back. Pluvio is always doing something. I see the one character doesn't like water.. So she might not like Pluvio, but it seems Pluvio might like her.
Then there is the enemy dynamic... There can be other allied races besides the dark orcs.. That's just something I'd like to render.. Expect a message from a general orc account later... To give info..
It also doesn't have to involve combat. I just plan on maybe a drow vs blork war in the background...

The first scenario was that Adriel was on a mission (she's a mercenary), and it turned out that the other player had the same one. So they misunderstood each other and started to fight. It's hard to explain, me and my partner never really went far with this RP.
Staying with the adventure vibes, there was also one resembling Indiana Jones; in short, Adriel discovered a hidden temple (hidden by elves/paladins) and discovers a massacre. Elves are on the floor, blood is running out of their bodies.

I’m thinkin’ I like the adventure type plot, and I was checking out the list of ideas from Jence.
On a quest to retrieve a kidnapped or lost loved one is always a classic.
And I also liked the idea of a quest to find the cure to a rampant plague.
What do you guys think? My character Kenji is rather eccentric and random, so that makes her flexible and I can make her work with just about anything.

Oh I definitely have ideas, including the ones I listed, like the antagonist race and all that other planning I already brainstormed.... It's sounding like we want an adventure thread.
Besides the ideas talked up, we could have a mystery. It could be in one location. Maybe an npc gets killed and we have to solve it. That would mean one person essentially has to be a GM and we might not want that.
There could be a monster that harasses livestock or villagers at night. Finally someone spotted it going into a cave and we band together to investigate.
Besides combat, we could also do a slice of life RP and focus more on the little details of life. We'd each pick their career and RP it.. We'll see how they meet up and we could plan that. And that means day jobs, not just picking a fighter or assassin.. But maybe a blacksmith... A tailor.. Someone at the market... Running a tavern or inn.
Or it could be about their life just joining a militia and maybe it's not going well.. Maybe we joined a military in a foreign land and are the only outsiders..
I could keep going, I don't necessarily favor the ideas above, but ask for ideas and ye shall receive...

I don’t mind playing the part of Evil. I have a character I’ve been trying to convince myself to develops but, haven’t gotten around to it yet. Maybe now is the time.
We've been hanging out in a fantasy tavern on my discord server. It's been pretty active, but the faster chat posting style might not be for everyone. I should warn that the tavern is set in a fantasy environment, but it has inter-dimensional hiccups to allow players to bring other kinds of characters in so everybody gets to play.
The scene changes day by day but it's an okay way to meet people and get something going.

So we can play good and evil.. I still need to make the enemy page. I'll be using them a lot, so it's not just for here. Hopefully tonight he'll be up.. Maybe the lady too.

As for my character, she will probably be wandering around, like any mercenary would do. She would find a hotel and sleep there for one week or more. Maybe that our characters could meet in an inn?

So this is how the enemy came out. I still need to work up the female of the species, and show more variation.. But here's the first look at what I hope to get a lot of RP out of... I have a lot of building to do.
As far as writing style, I'm descriptive. Multiple paragraphs, because the seen needs to be built, as opposed to just writing a paragraph of exactly what my character does.
What about the trees? What's happening near by? What might help another writer springboard off me? What is he thinking or feeling and does he share that or keep it inside? I think up questions just like that and write it until there is a story. Can't be done in 1 line, hard to really crack into that in 1 or 3 paragraphs.
So I write, and add humor or other things to make it interesting. Or try to... The Blork bio I wrote is similar to a type of RP I like... World building. Lots of stuff to add, that's part 1 of maybe 8. I need maps, descriptions of their beliefs, more shots of their technology, maybe homes...

The roads goes around the central town square (so a square like trail around it) where there's a park and a large tavern.. The tavern is also where meals are served, so its a good spot for dinner.. Or breakfast for that matter.
I added a church for clerics.. Paladins.. Surely there would be lots of traders and such.. So there's room for people to add stuff, I just see it as an area people stop at on the way during long trips. A fantasy genre tourist town. All sorts of people would come through the town.. Hence... Us..
