Nestled at the outskirts of any known town, the Shroud Inne is a restored, and historically maintained, Victorian mansion bearing all of the charms of old-world London. Hot meals and charming rooms are the main benefits of the establishment that are seen by the day to day visitors. Even most of the employees don't know the truth about what lives in the lower levels, kept secret from the world. Maggie's real business is her father's legacy, one she has guarded for ages and will continue to do so. After all, we all have our secrets. . .
Beneath the Inne is rumored to exist a secret lab and housing unit, containing creatures of myth and lore. They are not victims or prisoners, or so it is said, but residents of a merciful safehouse.
This is my only sci-fi character, but if I get a profile for a modern/sci-fi persona I have worked up I'll apply with him. If not, maybe this alien can play a role.. I'll try to get the modern profile together now, actually.
