Leo shouldered his bag as he looked up at the imposing brick building. William Rutherford's Preparatory Academy for Young Royals (simply known as Rutherford's) was a massive building, done in a classic Victorian style. It was essentially a college for people like Leo- princes and princesses from around the globe, especially those of the supernatural variety. Leo himself was a werewolf. It was the day before classes started up, and Leo needed to get an early start on unpacking his dorm. The campus was already filled with people. Too distracted by the people around him, Leo walked straight into another person, dropping his bag. Leo's bag opened and various school materials fell out- pencils, pens, markers. "Ah, shoot." Leo squatted down and began to pick up his stuff. "Sorry." He apologized to the other person.

Attending Rutherford's had never been Moriah's idea. In fact, it was the first time she'd spent a length of time away from home that hadn't been merely to visit the capital city to grovel at the feet of the King and his sons. She couldn't have been further from Relitium had she tried, and to say she'd been uncomfortable from the moment she'd arrived at the school would have been quite the understatement. Nervousness had wracked at her from the moment those above her in station had decided she required a formal education before fully taking on her role as Marquise - a role which she'd already been handling since her father's death. Above her nervousness perhaps, was also her upset that they'd forced her into this at all.

She'd barely graced the halls on her first day with a linen bag carefully slung over her shoulder when a single turn around a corner left her with the wind knocked out of her, and a cacophony of noise as the poor man's items fell all over the floor. Immediately, she crouched down to help him regather his things.

"No, I'm sorry," she said as she filled her hands with as many pencils as she could manage and held them out to him. "I'm afraid I've been a bit lost in my own thoughts, I wasn't entirely paying attention."
