Update: I am officially a Permanent Resident!
Hey everyone! Ahh I am just so excited I wanted to share it with you all!
Some of you know I met my husband on this site many years ago and its been an uphill battle with me being from the US and him being from Canada. After over a year of waiting for my sponsorship I finally got my interview date to get permanent residency next Friday! I am so excited! I have been in Canada since 2014 unable to work and now things are finally moving forward! I am so excited. I am very confident the interview will go flawlessly and I will walk out of the office as a permanent resident of Canada!

I actually did the same thing, but in reverse. I moved from Canada to the U.S to be with my wife. :B

Yes, we met on here back in 2011! Our characters clicked really well, then we realized we clicked very well! However immigrating has been a very costly and stress-inducing thing! It was just a year of hearing nothing and then finally something was happening. I always have a panic attack when immigration emails me ><;

Did your immigration take very long and were you allowed to stay with your wife during? I know about k-1 visa's because i watch the trashy show 90 day fiance but that is the extent of my knowledge about immigrating to US but I have always been curious!
