Are you interested in exploring heavy metal? :)
Since you want to explore and expand, I'll link a variety of things for you to check out.

This style of music really sparks my creativity, I often use it when I'm writing, or designing.

Some obscure bands, primarily power metal. This is stuff I stumbled upon while digging deep into 'related videos' in youtube and did not want to lose track of it

A bit more ecclectic mix that I used while doing nanowrimo last year

It might be a stretch, but I suggest checking out "Low Roar". They've got a very unique sound.

Give "Infected Mushroom" a go if you want to listen to some dubstep. It might not be your thing though.
Leela

Since you love my chemical romance, which I love too, I recommend three days grace, pain is one of their best songs. Break was also good.
St. Vincent
The National
PUP
Arcade Fire
Kendrick Lamar

Ok! I'll lay some various sounds on you, some accessible stuff. If anything clicks, let me know.

Sanhedrin (Female fronted NWOTHM (new wave of traditional heavy metal))

Bal Sagoth

Slough Feg, formerly known as The Lord Weird Slough Feg

Visigoth

Tengger Cavalry (Mongolian folk metal)

Agalloch

Korpiklaani

This is all pretty much modern stuff, so it's worthwhile checking out your classics like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. Though I'm fond of Medieval Steel!
Empire of the Sun
MGMT
Chicago
The Doobie Brothers
The Sterns
Bearstronaut
Coheed and Cambria
M83
Symphony X
Tears For Fears
Assuming We Survive
Peter Cetera
Live
Judas Priest

Enjoy!
Okay, as soon as I saw your list, I'm thinking, "my gods, we have similar tastes in music."

But, music recommendations? Nightwish, if you haven't listened to them already. The symphonic metal genre is to die for. If you're not fond of heavy metal, but love guitars and how they sound, (and like a bit of classical music) symphonic metal is a good compromise.

Another genre is Electro Swing. Gavin Luke is an amazing start, but I'd also check out Tape Five's Bad Boy Good Man.

The Gorillaz is another one. Their recent album is too good for this sinful world amazing. Childish Gambino is pretty good too. And I think that's all for now, but I'll add more as I think of them.

Speaking of Electro Swing, a good band is Caravan Palace- got some good tunes :D

Ah, you might like some of Bring Me The Horizon's stuff- maybe some Sleeping With Sirens.

Some bands I personally like, some of which may line up with your tastes are Foals and The Getaway Plan. You may know one of Foals' songs if you played/watched Life Is Strange- the song in question being Spanish Sahara. As for The Getaway Plan, a good song would be The Reckoning.
Others you might be interested in would be Hands Like Houses (Wisteria is a solid favourite), The Offspring and Neck Deep. Bloc Party and Studio Killers, being some of my favourites, might be worth a look, however probably not be something you're into. But hey, you never know! :)
Since it looks like you're into rock/punk rock, maybe try Written by Wolves, Alexisonfire, Thirty Seconds to Mars (their older stuff), A Perfect Circle, The Phantoms, or Starset. grandson is also good if you don't mind trap with your rock. For more of an electronic rock/metal flavour, try Celldweller or Blue Stahli.
If I were you, I'd give Set It Off, Bring Me The Horizon, Get Scared and Halsey a chance.

The first three are probably your best bets, and my person favourites are Get Scared and Set It Off.

I think you'll enjoy them a LOT, so give them a listen.
Check IAMX, I suggest them to anyone looking for new music!
They're my no1 all time best in the universe favourite band.

In particular the albums 'The Alternative', 'Kiss and Swallow', and 'Kingdom of Welcome Addiction'.
