Would asking for a roleplay with gore in it be considered 18+? I know that a lot of R rated films are 18 plus because of language and gore, is it similar to how it is on this site or is that only with sexual content in a roleplay?
Hiya, not sure how much help I'll be, but since nobody has responded yet I'll share what I know until someone can provide more detail. 
Gore falls under similar guidelines for violence. Light injuries such as surface cuts, blood, bruises are totally fine if you're concerned about that, but things like visible innards, or bone with fleshy bits attached will be above the 'PG-13-ish'. If in any doubt, best to keep it where it can't be seen without a warning!

I can confirm that this is correct It falls to the discretion of each moderator to decide what is acceptable in the realms of violence or what isn't, but in general, light wounds, bruises and cuts are usually quite fine, while gore almost always isn't.
We usually use the rule of thumb, "are body parts visibly where they aren't supposed to be?" to figure out how much is too much!
