I remember this being an old forum that I actually enjoyed reading. Whoever made that old forum, thank you for doing it, it was really fun to read. So here is the rebirth of the Username Origin Forum!

And I begin....

There's a dessert dish from my Pakistani culture known as Halwa Puri. Halwa being the soft, orange, and succulent, sweet and Puri is the thin bread you eat it with. As a child in Pakistan, it was my favorite dessert to eat with my dad on the weekends. My siblings and cousins made fun of my obsession towards one dessert, especially for how many times I begged my mom and aunt to learn how to make such an amazing dish! Because of that, they combined my nickname Noor, making it Noori, so it would rhyme with Puri, if you adjusted the spelling. And thus, by adding Halwa, Halwa-Noori was born!

My username comes from my ridiculous amount of pride in my state, Kansas, while the last little bit is simply my favorite Pokemon. It's simple and easy to remember

I like cats.
My old username on a different site had a more interesting history, though. I'd share it but to do that I'd have to type it out

I took my name from this weird sound: Skip-bab-bubbe-di-dap

I got my name from a lyric in a Set It Off song.

"I want a genuine, not a replica."

Since I'm a lonely SOB, I thought, "Everyone wants someone who's genuine but no one wants me. I must be a replica."

I started using Jpdelta out of nowhere. JP are my initials, delta cause I was in math class.

Well for me... Well. I randomised a username and this is what I got.... Wow so interesting I love it lmao

Hmm...

"Duchess" comes from my mom always referring to me and my sis as princesses (even though "duchess" refers to a queen, but whatever).

"Moon" comes from a trait of my OC.

And "Neko" comes from my adoration of Japanese Neko culture!

It was myself who made that old thread, hi! I'm so glad people enjoyed following it as much as I did and I'm happy to see it reborn. Halwa puri sounds delicious!

Being drunk is how I got my user name.

I had this name back on RPG. I have a thing for the winter season (though in rl I HATE the cold), and I love the ice element. The winter season can be harsh and cruel, as it can be beautiful and majestic to look at. The Fury part I didn't get because of the way winter can be, I got it from the name Nick Fury from Avengers. And putting the word Fury with Winter, just sounded good. It helps show how some of my characters can be.

Xenoworlds, where RP is going. The name refers to the interconnected worlds all of our charas belong to. Yup, every world we see in fiction is part of the Xenoworlds.

Xenoworlds_BEYOND refers to how, by going here, I've gone beyond my limits.

Um.. The name of a childhood bus driver... Also, I really liked a blogger named Leena, so Leela sounded like a cute combo of both those things. Quick, bright and easy!

From the Japanese way to say "One-Winged Angel" (which is 片翼の天使, or, Katayoku no Tenshi) and from the title of my favorite FF game, Final Fantasy VII. KatayokuNoTenshiVII was the result.

If I remember right, Yasu is based on my love for Ieyasu from Sengoku Basara, whom I once saw dressed as a tanuki in a piece of fanart (and the raccoon dog became my favorite animal very shortly after c'x ). I decided to combine the two for my username.

Woo-hoo! My name has an extremely long history!

Back before I started role-playing I was an extremely avid reader and I was slightly obsessed with Greek mythology. When I read about Oracle's in Greek mythology it was my favorite subject ever for a solid two months.

I started to play video games around this time, every time a game gave me the option to name my own character I typed in 'Oracle' as my in game name.

Then I got a phone!

I played a few different Android and IOS games that had a large number of people active online to talk with (Monster Warlord was one of them.) I made friends in these games and they asked me why I always went by Oracle and when I told them one of my friends decided to ask if they could call me by a shortened version of my name as a nickname to which I agreed. So now I was known as Oric.

Then I was reading one of the books in the Eragon series and saw the character who's name was Orik. My name changed. Again.

Later, to respect the character in the story I added an extra R in my name so it was different. So then it was Orrik.

The last name I took on after I discovered my Mother's middle name was Lynn. I thought the name was pretty but I also didn't want to disrespect her memory... (she's...not among the living.) So I took her middle name and swapped the first letter in it with the least used letter in the alphabet...Z. So now I went by Orrik_Zynn.

When I first joined this site I went by Orrik_Zynn. Then I started having real life issues and ended up deleting my account because I thought I wouldn't be back on the site.

Finally, I rejoined the site and decided I needed a fresh start, I added _x2 to the end of my name for that reason.

So now it's Orrik_Zynn_x2 but some people still call me Orik and some others call me Ozzie because that's my preferred name OOC.

So yeah, that's that~

Though the history of my user doesn't have a long history for me, my friend who introduced me to thee site said they originally planned it for one of his characters groups or guilds in a Sci-Fi setting. In Latin, it means "Light Forever Lit" or something along those lines.

I got my username from my first half of life. We didn't really have money, so we kinda lived in our car or cheap motels, and we moved around a lot. So I thought it'd be appropriate to name my guy wanderer
