I always look back to what I used to play before I actually started playing good games

I remember as a young child my favorite games would be these weird Barbie babysitting games I don’t know where I found it but it was like on a Barbie site and you got to take care of a baby and crap like that It brings back so many good memories

Before I accidentally discovered Yaoi and became the pure trash I am today I was so pure with what I did and played XD it’s really weird

So what were your favorite childhood games
I used to love a Jurassic Park game for my Sega Genesis. That, and a lot of Ecco the Dolphin.

Lmao I was a huge fan of dinosaurs back in the day I still am actually
Gab

Pokemon Channel for Gamecube! (Still have it and kind wanna play it now XD) I loved it. Pikachu was a total jerk, but I loved him XD

Oh! And Luigi's Mansion! (Gamecube version, not 3DS version)
Mine was where we would throw stones at each other and try to dodge them.
Or another where we would get into a pipe and roll down a hill

Yeah, it's not a game you should play XD We found out the hard way when my hand started to swell. oops ^^'
Videogames: CRASH BANDICOOT

In-person games; Blob!! I have five siblings. One of us would throw a blanket over ourselves and shuffle around (on our knees if it was one of the older kids) and try to catch the others, who would then be 'absorbed' into the blob (ie get under the blanket with the first kid). Hysterical laughter, climbing on furniture, being yelled at by mom not to break anything... Good times xD
I was lucky enough to have a couple of consoles when I was a kid, so I loved playing things like Super Mario World for the SNES and my Sega Genesis games (Sonic, a couple of Mickey Mouse titles, one surprisingly entertaining McDonald's game).

When I got a little older and my parents would take me to Video Exclusive (movie/game rental place), I'd become totally fixated on certain games and rent them over and over and over again for some reason. Some of the ones I remember (these are probably all for the PS1) were Disney's Hercules, some Casper the Friendly Ghost game, and Klonoa: Door to Phantomile (and the Klonoa series is still one of my favorites to this very day).

Outside of the consoles I had, though... games that different TV channels would have on their websites were huuuuuuge draws. I can tell you that I'd spend HOURS playing things on the Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, and Cartoon Network websites. Cartoon Network in particular had this really exciting series of games built around a series of fetch-and-exchange quests which took place at a tropical resort. Characters from their popular shows all needed something and you had to go find and trade those things with other characters. Gosh, I loved those. *heart eyes*

OHHH I spent hours on the Cartoon Network gaming website I remember it was this game about ed edd n eddy it was called
Food fight I think? Me and my brother and sister would play it all day good memories
I was just recently reminiscing about Sid Meyer's Pirates!

That game was ahead of it's time :P
I'm going to show my age some on this...

Video-game wise? I loved Maniac Mansion on original NES. That game was awesome. I can't even tell you how many hours I spent playing it. When SNES and Sega Genesis rolled out, I was super into Jurassic Park (playing as the raptor of course), General Chaos, and A Link to the Past. The original Star Fox was also awesome. N64... Ocarina of Time, Perfect Dark, Star Fox 64... there was some good video gaming to be had when I was growing up.

Board game wise I've always loved Chutes and Ladders, plus I had this cool electronic game. While other girls were playing Mall Madness, I was whooping butt in Omega Virus. Seriously, this game was my world. Fireball Island was also rockin'.

Wow! I think you were my brother would get along very well

He was big on games like that as a youngster I would play them but I was always into more farm like games

Something like rune factory or harvest moon XD
I played the heck out of Pokemon Sapphire as a small child! I got up to the Elite Four with a level seventy four Sceptile that I named Trecko, along with a team of level thirties. I still have Trecko today aah. There was also this Madagascar Penguins game we had on the Gameboy that I played a lot despite not actually getting anywhere in it if I recall. There was also Scooby Doo: Unmasked, but seriously I didn't know what was going on half the time during that.

Aside from Gameboy games, I had this computer game that I wanna say was from Maccas..? You basically were a frog guy with a time machine whose nephews travelled back in time for a rather elaborate game of hide and seek. You could shave llamas and stuff and honestly I mostly remember it for the song the tadpoles sing. If anyone actually knows the name of this junk I'd love you forever if you told me.
There was a game that included the frog guy from the prior computer game in this other one, which I think was mostly just minigames compiled together. I only really remember that the frog dude was in it though aha.
The only other computer game that was really my favourite was Neopets! And later down the line I played a lot of Monkey Quest, but eh that game is deader than dead.

As for games on consoles? Banjo Kazooie. Definitely. Also that Rampage game for PS2 was good stuff.
Anyone else play the RPG that never should have worked yet somehow did beautifully? Super Mario RPG?
oichidan

I used to play Final Fantasy Tactics on the PSX a lot when I was a kid. I'm just as thankful since Square Enix released the game on Android.
