Hello hello, I'm a new(-ish, now) on RPR, although I've already been poking around on the site for a bit now.

I originally joined in the hopes of finding more Transformers roleplayers to invite to the RP group I've been a member of for the last two years (minus a 9-month break in the middle there), but, well, why not get in some other roleplaying too, right?

I've been roleplaying on and off since probably 2003, para-style since c. 2006, in English since 2010 or so.

I have two cats, a haughty but cuddly tuxedo cat called Mordecai and a grey-and-white prowler called Prowl, as well as two ponies: an adorable and mischievous bay roan tobiano Shetland pony mare guard dog pony/mascot, Hippu, and a chestnut NF pony mare called Vekki who usually seems like she's just taken a bite off a lemon, both of them super old... 33 and 29, respectively. I mean, in practice the ponies are my mom's, they're mine only on paper. My family has a bunch of other ponies as well, including three yearlings, a stallion, and a couple pregnant mares.

I study ICT in a voc school currently, heading for polytech.

In addition to writing stories, drawing and roleplaying, I'm interested in genealogy and Finnish history. (It's actually surprisingly fascinating if one doesn't only concentrate on battles and such, but on the common people and their lives.)

You seem to already have a pretty impressive grasp of it! I'm always super impressed by polyglots. I sometimes can't even understand people talking in the only language I know.

Hmm... Speculative fiction in general. Anything with mutants, robots, aliens, post-apocalyptic stuff or steampunk is close to my heart, but I'm pretty flexible. More soap opera than battles, although the latter is also cool on occasion.

A friend and I once planned a fantasy futurism RP called Vampires In Space... (The name tells everything! ) Perhaps I could try to reboot it here... Or one I planned with another friend, a steampunk RP about a zeppelin and its crew. Hmm.


Heh, well, we typically start learning English in 3rd grade. (Swedish, our 2nd national language, used to start in the 7th grade when I was in comp school, but now starts in the 6th. Should start sooner imo.) Granted, alone it's not enough for this level of fluency. I got into reading fanfic and books in English at age 13, and the rest is history. I've wanted to learn new languages since, most recently Hebrew, but I've never managed to get to the level of fluency where I could start to engage with media without too much difficulty.
