i used to be on a forum called ArtPlay that was roleplaying--but in comics form! you could paragraph roleplay with drawings in your posts, or even just roleplay with drawings. it was a really neat idea, but it died out pretty quickly.

just thought i'd share that idea with y'all. it was fun.

I didn't know there was a dedicated site for it, but I have heard of people doing such things.

Tegakie used to be the go-to website for this. It's since closed down, but has been replaced with Paintberri. Although there was a falling-out with a lot of the makers/moderators of the website being shit-starters, so I'm not on there myself much anymore (wasn't apart of the drama, just that none of my friends are on there anymore, so). The art-based RPs I'm in now are based on proboards/zetaboards and the like, with your art drawn in whatever program you feel like and just uploaded to imgur.

Otherwise we'll do some of our RPs in Drawpile, which is a collaborative free opencanvas-like program.
