Hey Smithie,

That sounds super frustrating to deal with, I'm sorry!

The problem is very, very unlikely to be RPR - your WiFi connection is unaware of whether you're loading RPR or Google or any other site. The drops are probably just a coincidence when you're browsing RPR. The issue is more likely to be with your tablet or your router/modem. I think your best bet is to get in touch with your ISP about connectivity issues, and to check out articles like this to troubleshoot your problem:

Edit: Also, it might be a good idea to write your posts on a Notepad application on your tablet and then copy and paste it into RPR. That way you don't lose any of your hard work when the connection does drop.

Haha cheers :)

It's only me have trouble with internet my tablet is freaking making mad I lose so much hard work on here love a system to recover lost reply I'll type a whole paragraph then. Laose it then type like 4 lines instead XD
My wifi likes to blink out sometimes, and when I'm on my phone, things can get even more unpredictable.

In either case, I've developed the habit of always copying my post before submitting it. Without a physical keyboard, I've learned that sometimes thing means double tapping text, and sometimes pressing and holding, to prompt a menu to come up. Select all, copy. Then if the post fails, you still have your work.

If you didn't do that, sometimes you can still recover your post. As soon as you realize your connection has dropped, don't do anything in that tab. Don't try to back up, don't refresh, don't navigate away. Once you are certain that your internet has been restored, hit the back button once. This is not at all reliable, but sometimes your work will still be there. I'd still suggest copying it to be safe, but go ahead and attempt to send it again.

And as Sanne mentioned, a notepad app can be helpful. I use those when I'm doing a longer post anyway, partly just so that I can go through my partner's last post as I work on it more easily. On my laptop, I have Sublime Text 3. On my phone (Android), I have WriterP/Writer Plus. Both are free. And, nifty things that they are, they remember. I have not yet tested the limits of WriterP on that, but it seems to autosave, so I can close it out and open it again and everything is still there. Similarly, Sublime (which is meant for coding, but works just fine for writing) can be closed without saving, and it will still remember your work when you open it again (unless you set it to open fresh). You do have the option of actually saving a file, too.
