I just finished doing alot of cleaning chores and what not(mainly to help ease the load off of my parents due to my father focusing on helping my mother get better and used to having her ankle back to normal slowly) Its summer I do have the AC on but I'm still sweating and sticky all over other than a shower or bath(can't do it without having to move a specialized seat that was used to help my mother shower due to her broken ankle does anyone have any ideas of what I could do to cool down after a hard days work of chores/cleaning?

Ice water, heavy on the ice. It works well here in the sweltering Queensland summers.
It cools you internally and helps relieve the sweating while keeping you hydrated. :)
Something cold? An AC? Spending time with Asami-puu? >_<

A shower is your best option, but other than that, just get your hair wet either in a sink or with a mister bottle. :)

Go to a lake or pool. Drink lots of lemonade.
First off, shower seats are awesome.

Secondly, next time you know that you're going to be doing a bunch of outside work, set aside a couple of towels (dish towels or hand towels would work best). Put them into a decently sized tupperware, then cover them with water/ice water and put them in the fridge. As you get hot, you can take one out, wring it out a bit, and drape it over your head or neck, leaving one in there to stay cold. Swap them out as needed. At the end of the day, find a quiet place to stretch out (My favorite is the kitchen or garage floor) take your shirt off, and lay down with one or both of the towels draped over your back/chest/face/whatever.

Thirdly, hydrate. H Y D R A T E ! ! ! ! I work construction in Texas. I drink close to two gallons of water a day. Hydration is the single best thing you can do to stay cool. You will even feel less gross and sticky if you stay hydrated.

All good suggestions! I usually have a frozen water bottle (not a new full one, but one refilled to just below the curved part of the bottle) and take it outside with me. It slowly melts and I have cold water to drink as I do my gardening.

Thank you for all of your suggestions everyone. It'll really help the next time I'm doing lots of work like I did that day I posted this!

Ice pack on the head works every time for me.

All of this! I looove putting my hair up in a bun and then soaking my head with water. It keeps me cooler than any other method. Also, wearing a soaked shirt can be amazing after intense chores.

I'm in Portugal just now and can attest to the effectiveness of a wet towel superhero cape while sitting in front of a fan. A damp sports vest works great too if you need to keep moving. Sticking your feet in a bucket of cold water cools your whole body much faster, and you can do that while kicking back. :D

I know it wasn't your intention Sanne but when you mentioned the soaked shirt it made me think of lewd things -Blushes-

But I digress, thank you for all of your suggestions everyone! If I had the money to do so I'd go to the store here and give each of you who gave me these suggestions a flower gift or something!

Well that's your imagination not mine :D.
I would say drink plenty of water, since it's needed for correct functioning of organism that's why people in desert need to stay hydrated.
But if you looking for other option, there're ice cream and lemonade, but with first don't go over board since you can get sick pretty easy.

I know what you mean about the getting sick pretty easy thing I think its called water intoxication(if you drink too much water)
