Hey there guys, gals, and nonbinary pals!

I'm Ink. I'm a newcomer to the site but not to writing or roleplaying; I started roleplaying on Gaia 13 years ago, went to college for an English degree, and have been doing freelance writing and editing for 7 years.

Obviously I'm an advanced literate writer. However, I seek roleplays in order to relax and have fun; I'm not a perfectionist. I care far more that someone can write interesting characters and posts that move the plot along than I do about perfect grammar. As long as I can read your post without getting confused, we're good.

I also subscribe somewhat to the old adage of quality over quantity. I like longer replies, but I'd rather write or receive one well-written paragraph than ten pages of useless filler. I keep a one-paragraph minimum, but otherwise prefer to be flexible with post lengths.

I also require flexibility when it comes to posting frequency. Between my day job, my freelance work, my mental health, and my vague replica of a social life, I sometimes won't be able to reply for a few days, maybe longer. I'll try and make sure to give a heads up but it's not always possible. If you're not able to handle the occasional delay like a grown up, then I'm not the partner for you. That said, I normally reply at least once a day, maybe more.

*Why? The reason I don't rp with anyone who actively likes these stories is simple. I hate when unhealthy relationships are portrayed as good, and these books are the most prominent example, and the most talked about. It's one thing to like a book and perhaps not realize the problems it has; it's another thing entirely to hear the constant debates and explanations about why something is absolutely not okay and still romanticize it.

I'm okay with roleplaying unhealthy relationships, even enjoy it, but only if it is acknowledged and understood that it is unhealthy.

I have a tendency to come off as rude without meaning to. I am very blunt and have problems reading or expressing tonality, so I don't always see how something can come off wrong. If I say something and it seemed mean, please point it out to me if you're unsure! (Trust me, if I'm actually mad, it's obvious.)

If you seek partners 18+ then I would suggest checking the "looking for RP - Adults only" since this forum is not visible/available to anyone under aged.

On the other hand... I think your introduction is very detailed with Do and Don't clearly expressed.
You should re-post this in the "Looking for RP - Adult only" and I'm sure the right writer will PM you or leave a message there

Tusitala is correct about the Adults Only version of the Looking for RP forum. It's the best way to ensure your partners are actually 18 if their age is hidden on their profile. Hi! And Welcome to RPR! I really agree with you on that ‘quality over quantity’ part, even though I’ve got a feeling that the quality of my writing wouldn’t be able to compare against yours. (Your introduction looks amazing honestly, and it definitely looks like a lot of effort was put into it!)

If you are ever interested in roleplaying some modern fantasy, crime, realistic romance or BnHA or MCU, do hit me up! Those are some of my personal favourites as well, and if you are interested I would love to roleplay with you sometime in the future~ Or maybe I’ll look for you when I finally got a good plot on hand haha~

I am curious about one other thing though.
