I know there are plugins for tumblr but I'm not sure if there's something like this for here.

Usually it's pretty okay, but sometimes I see terms used that just grate me so badly and I usually pop on an anon alt to bring up why something is problematic or insulting or fetishizing. (Using terms like shemale, c*ntboy, slurs, stuff like that. To clarify, I only really look for RP on the adult forum since I'm pretty uncomfortable roleplaying with people under 18 because of the huge age gap. Nothing to do with skill though!)

I'm nice about it, but it's exhausting. I'm tired of doing it, both inside RPR and outside it. I'm wondering if there's anything here on this forum, or if there's like... any plan for it, or a plugin from an outside source, anything like it that hides entire posts or whatever with words in it that you're not cool with?

Also are there any rules against using slurs? Because some of those things are often considered slurs despite them being like... porn categories.

I'm sorry if this has been said before. :(. On an anon char since I'm fairly anxious about making it obvious who I am. I've had backlash voicing these things to other communities.
A similar conversation just recently happened here. Right now, things seem to be at the point where Kim is trying to get input from various people to determine what to do next, so it is definitely good that you said something. In the meantime, you could try using browser plugins that will replace undesired terms with alternatives for you. As I understand, just doing a search for something like "word replacement" in the "shop" for your preferred browser should give you a number of results.

Thanks, Nova. It's just so exhausting with topics like these lmao. Either it's dangerous to be a person who falls under those umbrellas, or you're a fetish. There doesn't seem to be a cool in between.

I'll try to look some stuff up when I have more spoons. Thanks <3 <3
It definitely sucks to be in that position. I hope whatever decision is reached on the matter is something that works for you. :)

Thank you :). I do, too.

We do have rules against slurs. Some words are in sort of a grey area where we try to figure out of they have uses other than slurs.

As a start, please report uses of "c*ntboy," and then let's all stop using this word on the public forums >.> We don't allow use of the c-word at all, even if partially censored.

We don't have plans for an official plugin that does this, but it looks like something like this could do what you want web-wide: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/advanced-profanity-filter/piajkpdbaniagacofgklljacgjhefjeh?hl=en
