Hey guys, I love learning about ocs and maybe getting a feel for people here. Jump in here, get in chat even and tell me about your babies :)
All of mine originated from the Xenoblade games. Started out with Zanza as my character in Monster Hunter then I slowly developed him and the rest as I went on.

Sounds interesting, I never played xenoblade tho
Alvis (played by Enter)

Think I do an alright job explaining it. Alvis in particular contains most of the world's information

Oh :0c
As you can see I dumped a lot of info in him
Asroc

Champon is still being worked on. He's my passion for his own game.
Kuroba Mikazuki (played by AgitoAceXIII)

You've asked, and I will gratefully bestow you the information you want. Here goes:

Kuroba Mikazuki, a Remnant of Sephiroth, is my first and foremost OC. He's been here through the worst, and his life is a tragedy. Born in a trio, he and his brother and sister lived together for at least a year or so (I haven't figured out the gist of it, yet), before the creature, that was partially responsible for the birth, had killed his siblings, and left him clinging to life.

Still alive, the judgment of said creature, Jenova, impacted him enough to shift his happy life into one of sadness and anger. Clinging for life, and desperately attempting to wake his now dead siblings, the judgment of Jenova prompted that Sephiroth, the true creator of the boy, cast him to the Overworld, which was hesitantly done.

This left the boy in a brand new body, one closer to an adult's, instead of the child's body his soul was residing in. However, the rapid events left him confused on his identity, to the point that he forgot his own name and birthday, but somehow still remembered the names of his adoptive Mother, and siblings. He was taken in by members of the Shin-Ra Company, however, they'd tricked him. The rest of that story can be found on the character's page.

Anyway, after he'd been able to run away from Shin-Ra (with the help of someone he'd never expected), he'd been a violent soul, confused in life, and knowing only to kill, to hurt, and so on. He was out for blood.

- That's the basic story. I mean, he was originally an evil character, but he'd shifted sides...sorta. But that was elsewhere. That's really all I can say, without ruining much more of the magic I've created.

I see, I took a look and you have a lot of really cute art for him too. Did you draw any of that?

Based in Final Fantasy 7 right? I never played the games, but I recognize those names. Sounds like an interesting concept, for lost child in a lost body.
Vanitas (played by Enter)

Most original of the four is probly Vanitas since he isn't directly based on anyone from Xenoblade while the others are directly based on the characters of the same name
Werren

Alice Munk is the newest addition to my creations. She's a private investigator, often being quick in moving from scene to scene expecting any potential partners to keep up with her. Having to be completely self-sustaining and has gotten to seeing almost no sunlight due to her job having her work mostly at night.

The Arcaia Heads are an example of what I like to call my combo portions. A basic profile description of the main staff of a fictional world for teaching magically powered students at the Arcaia Academy.

Assorted Scenario Characters, as it says on the tin are another example of combo portions. No specific profiles for archetypes in order to make their characters flexible for one-off scenes or generic ideas.

Organization of Arcaia Characters, combo portions for a story of mine called Organization of Arcaia being a collection of covens trying to rebuild their nation of witches. Suitable for fantasy and supernatural settings.

The Night Watchers, last of my combo portions as they are an investigation agency who are also the law enforcement of the supernatural world of the major city they reside in. Each is unique in the position they occupy and are a stable unit so they can easily work with incoming rookies.

Harriet Osborn, the one character based on that of an official franchise. A gender-bent version of Harry Osborn who is the Green Goblin of her incarnation, usually a hero or anti-hero with Norma Osborn in this version being the Hobgoblin, I like the parallels.

My completely original characters most developed through a variety of RP are Doctor Caroline Riva, Jarred Eisner, and Yue Hayashi.

Doctor Caroline Riva is a scientist most suited for the science fiction settings, her specialty being using her knowledge in Biology to create hybrids of all sorts of variety and intensity. Sometimes reaching to the extent of Nephilim and Cambion, all for the sake of her curiosity and success. Of course, this has often resulted in consequences catching up to her.

Jarred Eisner is a telepathic supervillain with a superiority complex that leads to confidence that super beings are inherently superior to humans and seeks to rule the world to impose this rule. All while making everyone believe he is a philanthropist managing a company meant to encourage the collective good.

Yue Hayashi is a witch who can fit in a fantasy or urban fantasy setting, always wanting the combined status of being considered the most popular and most intelligent girl. Focusing on her studies and maneuvering the opinion of others to accomplish such a thing, finding very few opportunities of comfort to be her genuine self.

The combo portions sound like an interesting concept, and you seem to have a good feel on it.

I like that many of your ocs are almost villian in nature, it's fun to play the bad guy or morally grey characters sometimes
Werren

Thanks. I hold the idea that no one is really the 'good guy' so even if they're not explicitly the villain someone is going to think they're the bad guy.

That's a fun way of thinking of it, I like making really flawed characters, some that people would think are douchebags, and some that are actually bad guys, the variety is fun
This is basically a Gush Thread and I like it.

Ceci's a character that originated from a tabletop Rifts game I was in, but got expounded upon and really fleshed out for online RP. They're a cybernetics doctor that's cheerful and polite, but socially off-kilter and sometimes unnerving. I do like playing a character that sort of makes you wonder 'why' they're the way they are, although nobody's really asked that yet.

I've found that one of the more interesting concepts is playing a character that is just genuinely interested in finding out about others'. People are always interested (if this thread is any indication) in talking about/getting their own characters' story 'out there', so playing someone who is just 'yes, tell me' and not absorbed in their own background story is... Interesting. Ceci's story will probably never get told, and that's okay? I've ended up mixed up in a lot of other people's plots. I feel they're sometimes a bit too reactive, but they have their own small moments of agency, and it's fun.

Also typing constantly with the 'they' singular pronoun is hard.

Nothing wrong with gushing a bit here and there, haha
I like seeing what other people do with their ocs and what creative stuff they come up with. I have my own style of oc, and my own way of development, it's fun and interesting to see how others do it too

I also have a tendency to ramble about my own ocs, so it's good to sit back and listen sometimes too

Cecil sounds cool, and looking through their page I like your art of them, it's very nice

That's a cool concept for a character, BUT the problems lye in if people have characters developed enough or interesting enough to hear what they have to say. I think it would depend on the ocs openness and the other muses ability to explain them hmm
I don't have any fandom-based ones, but I do have over 100 OCs. I can't really pick one to talk about (100 of them!!), but all of them except for two are anthropomorphic animals. Most of them are fantasy canines that are categorized by breed, some of them are dragons or strange creatures.

Ive never done the animal RP thing, but I'm sure there's a lot you could do with it, and yeah 100 is a lot xD
