i'm bored out of my mind at school so i figured i can start a thread for people to talk about small details that make all of us individuals and unique and all that. if that doesn't make sense, it's because i am. very tired.

anyways, here's some of my own:

-i have a scar on my left middle finger that i got from a barbie car when i was four

-i play marimba

-i have one tattoo and a septum piercing, i had three ear piercings but i've taken them out because they hurt all the time.

-i collect old cameras and you can probably find me in antique stores and flea markets looking around for affordable ones, clutching a hoard of them to my chest and hissing at anyone that walks by like a goblin that hasn't seen the sun in 500 years

-i'm 5'0 lmao

-i wear flannels, like, every day of my life and have since the sixth grade and it's kind of my brand at this point

-almost choked to death on a calzone once but i still love calzones

-i am AWFUL at picking favorites and choosing things like don't ever make me pick something ever i'll probably just start internally screaming like a tea kettle and idk there's probably a bi joke in here somewhere

thank u for reading as u can see i'm an extremely interesting person and my autobiography is going to be published soon (that's sarcasm fellas)
Im not intresting either ollie boy its okay. But...your super intresting lmao dunno wut ur talking about.

  • I love neon and pastel colors, especially if they're green or blue.
  • I won first place in the school art show the year I graduated for a drawing of a horse.

This is fun 👀

💜 I love pastel colors. Others are ugly!

💜 I have social anxiety but that hardly stops me from being my loud, annoying self!

💜 I like animals.

💜 I survived a lot of very bad things.

💜 I have children and an amazing boyfriend that i met through roleplay!

💜 I used to be a good artist years ago but I stopped.

💜 I love to bake and decorate cakes. I hope to be a baker some day and end up on one of food network's shows.

💜 Im also known for how clumsy i am and how many concussions i get. I never had brain damage though!

💜 NO ONE ever remembers my name. So i give out a nickname or one of my character's names instead.
Facts about me? Well, let's see here...

☆I love cookies. And cheesecake. If someone invented a cheesecake with a baked (not crumbled up) cookie cake crust, I would be all over that in an instant. Especially if the crust is chocolate chip, peanut butter, or snickerdoodle. Yum, snickerdoodles. <3

☆I like to draw. I'm decent enough at it, I guess. As we speak, I'm trying to finish up someone's contest prize before the week ends, so that's fun.

☆I used to write like a maniac back when I was younger, with poetry as one of my main specialties. And now I don't. Every so often I do produce a poem or write ideas for stories down, but it's more like a tiny, productive side hobby now.

☆I have way too many characters. Like, way too many. Between me and my boyfriend, we have 101 original characters... And I own 80 of them. And counting.

☆I'm polyamorous and available. Nothing too special.

☆I actually won a Children's Mental Health Week poster contest and got to meet the governor of my state when I was about 18-20 years old. (Weird, huh? Long story.) The posters were hung up in places all over my state, and I got a signed version from the governor himself.

☆Before art and writing took over my life, I wanted to be a chef or a singer. The chef idea is still alive in the form of wanting to open a bakery that also sells booze one day. The singer idea? Not so much.

Same!!!!!!!!!!

- I am a tetrachromat, a very small percentage of people who can see more colors than most

- I was adopted as a baby. (From Tennessee, however, I'm not from across the world! XD)

- And I have acted for mainly musicals, and one short film documentary on adoption.
Rogue-Scribe

Ah, the 'tidbits of information' thread! Here's a few.
  • I love pizza
  • I love cheese
  • I love beer
  • I'm addicted to RP
  • I need coffee in the morning
  • I've worked in two different countries
  • I'm a dual Citizen
  • I'm a free thinker
Okay! Here we go:

-I made drill team and it's my freshman year, and the only other freshman on the team.

-I have been dancing since I was 2, and started competition when I was 5

-I have 5 dogs: Hercules, Star, and Rebel are brittany spaniels, A chihuahua with knee problems 'cause she's a little chubby, and Gibbs, a rat terrier mix who is my newest

-I was born sunnyside up, and had problems breathing when I came out

-I speak French and am learning Spanish. It is my ultimate goal to start a conversation in spanish, correct myself in french, and apologize in German.

-I love anime. Ohshc. Akagami no Shirayukihime. Fairy Tail. You name it.

-I am a huge star wars, marvel, DC, and disney fan. Seriously. I speak memes, song lyrics and quotes.

-Just one scar on my left shin from shaving. Not that interesting. I just have lots of bruises.

-I can do the eyebrow thing.
These were fun to read through, and for what it's worth I think you're all interesting people! Anyways:

- My room is basically a cabinet of curiosities (natural history specimens, for the most part)

- I have really small/slanted cursive handwriting and nobody can read it including me sometimes

- Been within touching distance of at least five bears. Not good.

- Where are my chronic tinnitus brethren

- I like fidgeting with objects that have rough textures

- My mother and I both have central heterochromia (a form of the mutation where your irises are primarily green or blue with a brown sunburst around the pupil). It sounds cool but it's honestly not that noticeable lmao

- I'm editing one in because it drives me insane: my younger brother and I look really similar except he keeps getting taller and taller, so people assume he's the older one despite the fact that I have five years on him.

Mm, and some facts...
  • I attended a different school every year of middle school/junior high, and attended a total of 8 schools (including preschool and college) in 5 systems. 9 if I count a hybrid jr/Sr high as separate schools.
  • I am a professional cuddler. I platonically cuddle adult humans to help them feel better.
  • I can manipulate my view of a web page, even removing overlays so I can see things, but I can't figure out how to change the channel on a reasonably modern TV.
  • I don't have a car or driver's license despite being a ~30 year old US citizen.
  • I have won multiple Halloween contests with my creepy doll costume.
  • My family has a bad left side. My mom, brothers and I all have worse vision in our left eye than the right. My mom and I both have cists on our left wrist. My mom is deaf in her left ear after meningitis destroyed her inner ear.
  • I live in a city that's obsessed with beer and work at a bar (2 jobs) that only serves beer and wine. I do not like beer or wine.
  • I have a weird, undocumentable allergy to pewter, but don't seem to react to the individual metals it's made of.

thought of some more things actually??

-i won first place in a photography contest a few months ago

-when i was a baby i just went straight from rolling to walking and never really crawled. as a result throughout a lot of my childhood i had a really difficult time crawling and i had to really think about it.

-more baby oliver nonsense: on my second birthday they got me one of those tiny little baby cakes and expected me to just go wild on that thing but i refused to touch it and they finally put my hands in it for me thinking i would like it but i just started screaming.

-also when i came popping out of the womb i didn't cry i was just really hungry

-i can kinda do the Eyebrow Thing? idk, i can't make myself do it but i noticed in my yearbook photo this year i'm raising one eyebrow and i have no idea how that happened.

-my tongue's long enough to go past the tip of my nose and almost reach the bottom of my chin.

-i technically started writing stories before i could even spell, i just came up with stories and had my grandma write them down for me until i was able to spell. honestly i wish my self esteem about my writing wasn't so low because it's been one of my favorite things about life since i was a Tiny Baby but that's too real for right now fellas.

-if you didn't notice i say fellas and lads a lot and idk how to stop.

-the first movie i saw in theaters was the polar express.
Ok, I’ll play along.

I’ve changed my major three times. I’m one of those people who will probably go to school forever because I like learning.

I’ve worked on a movie for a year. Such an experience.

I’m really into horror movies. Particularly cheesy 80s. I love a horrible movie as well and pretty much anything made by Troma.

I have an Italian Mastiff rescue and his name is George. I love him even though he drools all over everything.

I am slowly but surely collecting the Monster High dolls on my shelf because I think they are way cooler than the barbies I had as a child, and so I am totally jealous and must own them all.
I guess it's my turn. I'm really loving learning more about you all!
  • I love to sing. It's pretty much obsessive at this point, but it's the only thing that cures a cycle of depression most days.
  • I really like swordfighting. I've studied shaolin styles, rapier and german longsword.
  • I also really like archery and own a Martin Rebel recurve I'm very fond of.
  • I quite literally grew up inside a library as my guardian was an elementary school librarian and I had to spend before school, after school and all summer with her at work. Honestly didn't mind that part.
  • I grew up in foster care.
  • I'm probably the most inappropriately humored 'appropriate' person you know. Somehow my perverted sense of humor surprises people every time. Except my husband. He knows too much.
  • I'm busy a lot of the time and don't get to sit down and write nearly as much as I'd like and it frustrates the heck out of me most days. I'm literally busy most days from 5:30 am until 10pm.
Guess trying to stall working here I could join in
Well, what´t so say here
I am obsessed with bats (I love them and basically everything with them on it... slap a bat-picture on it and I am sold..o0 )

I love running - it´s my way to stay sane, to charge energy for social interactions and my daily running laps in the woods are my 1-2hours of me-time where I draw a lot of inspiritation for writing

I am practicing martial arts since I was 12 and are a firm believer in the ethics and guidelines of Bushido

About I guess about 30% of me are inked - _I got celtic/viking-artwork inspired ones on my arms, back and cleavage. A comic style owl riding on a cog-heart-shaped pocket watch (reminder that there is an end to everything and to make the best use of your time) on my left calf and Granny Weathewax and Nanny Ogg are gracing my right calf (they are said to be my "spirit animals", at least accoroding to friends)

I am a fabric hoarder who loves to sew and create Gothic Tim-Burton styled outfits if there is time

I seem to have a rather twisted and weird, black sense of humor with a deep going streak of sarcasm which regularly makes people frown at me and my jokes 0o ;P

I was kicked out by my parents when I was 19 due to being a Goth

about 99% of the clothes I own are black

I am a sucker for good old Scotch Whiskey and dark, dry red wine

I am literally addicted to coffee (real, strong black coffee with only a drip of milk and loads of caffeine)

*Eyebrow thingy power!*

*I can literally do the wave with my eyebrows. It's like they're controlled by two separate muscles* lol

>_> I have very little to do while I'm at work, so this sounded like a fun idea! Thanks for making this forum game, Oliver! :D

DISCLAIMER: My post does contain words about injuries in bones. Please be advised when reading in case these things may squick you. :)

  • I'm 5'5" and a 132 lbs of whoopings.
  • I often cry a lot over stress. I may end up having a crying session once a week just to alleviate the stress I'm under. I call myself a cry-baby for it, but I'm honestly glad that I have an environment in which I feel safe and comfortable enough to cry in from time to time. When I was growing up I was taught that crying was a severe show of weakness and that nothing about me was worth crying about unless I'd sustained a sizable injury.
  • I've broken my right arm twice! The first time was called a "green tree branch break" where the bone was too soft due to my age and it basically just split open instead of snapping. The second time happened when I was a bit older and I broke completely through my radius and my ulna was partially still together but was on the verge of fully breaking.
  • Do teeth count as bones? I've broken one tooth in an accident where I hit the concrete with my face. Due to having forward protruding overbite my front most tooth saved my entire upper jaw. Now I have a partially translucent half of a tooth that no one ever really notices until I say something.
  • I really love learning new words. I often text my husband if either of us are working, or run to him where ever he is and exclaim my excitement over the new word I've learned.
  • I really love salty, spicy, sweet, savory, and saucy foods. I like for flavours to be pushed towards the extreme. I'm the person who's ordering the "hottest" wings on the menu with extra sauce, or casually enjoying jalapeños on nearly anything. I will even eat them straight from a jar as part of a snack.
  • I often ask for reassurance with things I've done despite knowing logically that I've done something right, a chore, or simple accomplishments that hold little to no true value.
  • I'm insecure about writing this set of facts out because I'm terribly worried about the judgement of others. I'm an insecure little bean, but I find it to be a good exercise to throw myself out in public situations to prove to myself that everything will be okay.
  • I have a couple of nicknames: Nile the Crocodile, Bean, Butterbean, BaconSushidough(a play on the name Baiken Seishido, a favourite character of mine), PrettySir, Pretty Boy, and there are probably more, but that's the ones I remember.

That's all I'll post for now. :P
