With thanksgiving coming up in the usa. I wanted to share what i'm thankful for. My family and freinds. A man who truly loves me. Finally achieving my dream in life of becoming a musician. For all the freinds and friendships I have made on RPR.
Me? It's my Puu Crew~ >_< And everyone in it~
They know who they are and all that~
Great idea for a thread.

I'm thankful for my mom, for Sandra, for having a job, for God's love and guidance, for living around a lot of parks, um....for my mom helping me get another car after that wreck a while back, for music especially Enya, for writing, for my friends here on RpR, for art in general, for kind words, for good movies to look forward to, for my Aunt, for rain, for cold weather, for reason, for living in a city with hundreds of different kinds of food.
That´s a really nice topic! :D

What I am thankful for... a lot... most important: my better half who has had my back and has been a source of endless love, trust and understanding for more than 12 years.
Then my friends of course, who in my case often enough were acting the part of a familiy
My spiritual teacher and guide
The guidance and protection of the gods/godesses and spirtis
My own resilienece, stubborness and defiance which helped me to achieve a lot more than a lot of people had thought I would, against all odds and obstacles

... well and most recently I am utterly thankful and glad to have come out of a motor-bike-crash almost unscathed - as bruises and strains surely are just minor injuries compared with what could have happened.

Oh man, this topic really hit me. Early on in the year, one of my resolutions was to keep a Gratitude Journal, and write down five things I'm grateful for each day. Well, bad stuff happened, as they do, and I haven't written in it for a couple of months now. But reading through this thread, I realized that I really should! Gratitude is a great exercise for connecting us to the world and re-orienting ourselves. Re-finding true North. It's so easy to get lost and stop seeing all the things that bring value to our lives.

So my number one thing I'm grateful for right now would be... this thread! ;)

And on to my list. I'm thankful for:

♦ All the comforts of civilization. I take it for granted that I have light when it's dark, that I have easily-accessible food, that I'm sheltered from the heat and the rain and things that can literally kill me. But I have those things, and all because other humans make it possible. <3
♦ But I'm also grateful for wildness and monsters, the mysteries of deep water, the vastness of space, for the huge expanse of things outside of human control and understanding.
♦ Long walks under big, poofy clouds, when the sky turns into a rainbow gradient of color.
♦ Words. Words are just incredible.
♦ Rivers and lakes!
♦ Being able to make mistakes and learn from them.
♦ My family. None of us are perfect, but we keep each other real. As iron sharpens iron, bro.
♦ This community. I know I haven't been here long, but these forums are so full of great, friendly people! (I mostly come from Reddit, so the feeling is pretty different.)

I'm truly feeling you on the parks, food, and Enya! Hmm, I need to go listen to her now.

That sounds terrifying! Road accidents are my number one fear. It's wonderful you didn't suffer any major injury.))
I'm thankful for a lot of things. Man how to list them. Well here goes something. I'm thankful for my wife, my friends, on here and the ones I have not on here, for food, for god allowing me to sleep and wake up the a new day everyday, for my son's (who are my pets), for my mother in law who helped me get back in school to graduate when I was 20, thankful for games and for kind people who are kind to others. I'm thankful for my parents.
