There might already be a way, and I'm an idiot, or it might be an epic member perk- I dunno.
But I think it'd be cool if users were able to change text fonts? I belive it could help make better advertisements and in general it'd be cooler? I dunno, I just had the thought...

Epic members have some ability to do that within profiles, but in the site at large... officially, no, because things would get ugly and hard(er) to read really fast. Except size and bold/italic, which by text design standards, still counts as changing the font (just not the typeface).
Unofficially... you sort-of can. If you use the font tag, it does work. The key is using a typeface that can be accessed - meaning that it has to either already exist on another's computer for them to see it (and there are a handful that are on most computers), or you have to use one that is already loaded into the page.
For example, most computers have Arial on them already when purchased. As another example, public spaces on RPR feature a typeface called Redressed which can also be accessed just by naming it.
