Hi. I was looking for a forum with a dedicated setting, but since google nor 4chan helped, i ended up here. Not the kind of place i would pick first, but here we are. No offense, it's just that this kind of place tend to confuse me. Too many options, too many settings, too many stiles. Overwhelming.

I really recommend checking out the Looking For RP boards, and I definitely recommend hitting up the OOC Chat as a place to get to know some of your fellow roleplayers!
As far as a dedicated setting, there's a LOT out there! Many of the groups have dedicated settings, and they're fairly easy to navigate or find using the search bar. You can also very easily create your own groups, or even just do a "Interest Check" or "Seeking" post somewhere in the RP boards to see if you can find some people who have the same likes or interests!
I promise that RPR is easy to navigate, as well as easy to find what you're looking for.

Welcome. Might seem overwhelming at first, but once you get used to the site's functions, it'll likely all sort itself out. As long as you know what you yourself are exactly looking for, it's not too hard to find people with similar styles and interests.

I was initially intimidated before I chose to persist, drown in the power that came with playing God, and found out how easy the site is all things considered. I can teach you about some RPR-isms, but there's also a nice help section at the top if I lack an answer.

Who knows, you could make something worthy of attracting me, the voice of the Xenoworlds!

I was actually in the same situation as you when I started out-- really. But don't worry, it's actually a lot more simple than it seems. Also, the people here are super nice and I bet almost anyone you PM will RP with you or at least point you in the right direction.
