So uh, hi! I'm totesanalt. I'm an avid roleplayer, albeit more in the virtual tabletop sphere than in the play-by-post sphere, and my favorite system is Open Legend. I used to be an avid play-by-post roleplayer in Pokemon roleplaying websites, though that was at least 5 years ago. I'm hoping to get back into play-by-post gaming, thanks primarily to my difficulty in joining games in my time zone, as well as my more jam-packed schedule.
In regards to setting, I'm more partial to modern fantasy, like superheroes, vampires in New York, etc. and unconventional fantasy, like Mortal Engines (tbh I can't think of many examples of this offhand). That said, my interests are varied, and I enjoy all sorts of settings.
When I'm not playing tabletop RPGs, I'm playing video games, or reading free web serials (I'm cheap, sue me). My favorite web serials thus far have been Worm, by Wildbow (a dark superhero web serial), Kansas City Shuffle by The Laurent (a Changeling: the Lost fanfiction/"quest" on sufficient velocity that made me really wanna RP World of Darkness) and The Gods are B******s by D. D. Webs (an ongoing web serial set in the wild-west period of a Tolkien-esque fantasy world).
I hope to be part of this community and make some great stories alongside everyone else.
