Hello people of RPR. I recently made a new character. As an experiment, I decided to add some tropes to him. Now, I tried looking on the site: https://tvtropes.org/
Now, its probably just my own stupidity, but I found navigating the site a little bit difficult and was only able to find one trope. Can someone help me find either:
a) a good site with a list of tropes and definitions.
and/or
b) Tropes they think may work for Vance along with links to definitions.
I know Im kinda asking for a lot, but any help would be highly valued. Thanks everyone!

Based on his tiny kitten and love of sweet things, what about Gentle Giant? Similarly, Real Men Wear Pink kinda fits this type, as does Bruiser With a Soft Center.
Related to his size, you could go for The Big Guy. And I don't know where his skills place him in the hierarchy of his group, but The Dragon (or some permutation) might or might not fit. Depending on how well-received he his in his community, consider Neighborhood Friendly Gangsters, and maybe that page will have some other decent suggestions on it, too!

Ahhh, that's the beauty of TvTropes. Once you find one that's relevant it offers you different branches of that trope, or ones which are similar to it! A handy trick I discovered is, if there's a particular character from a movie/comic/book/etc. carrying a theme matching your OC, you can look it up on the site. Since he's a mafia member, I searched the iconic "Godfather" for examples.
From there, you can sift through tropes listed under said source and see if there's anything applicable
(As a bonus, you might gain a new understanding of media you love by coming to understand some of their formulas!)
