What version of D&D are you targeting?

Cool and yep! We starting with first level characters? I have a couple that I've started:

Galiena - Lawful Good human Cleric of Ulesh, god of Peace OR (depending on the setting) Cleric of Chauntea, goddess of life and agriculture. Either way, she's very anti-violence unless she doesn't see another choice (which could be interesting with a cleric of war also in the party)

Rook - Neutral Good Human Ranger. Currently statted as Level 2, but I'm not playing her in any games that require die-rolling right now, so I could bring her back to Level 1 if needed

Jip - Chaotic Good Gnome Thief. (I need to do his stats yet)

Anybody fit with the party?

Also, I have a few modules that I'm willing to run, but only if no one else wants the role of GM.

Haha, we don't have a ranger yet. And sure! You're the DM, now. Quazar is working on his character, and it's both mine and his first time. The War Cleric is another friend of mine, he's quite experienced. And you don't have to start at level 1, I believe he is already level 10. My character is the Barbarian, modeled exactly after Kratos, from the God of War series. We can discuss characters after we get more people. Do you know anyone who would join?

Hmmm... I don't have any modules appropriate for a level 10 character, so might need to find another GM.

I'll talk to him about either starting a new character, or leveling his down a bit. And what do you mean by modules?

Just another name for an 'adventure'.

They tend to be written for characters that are all roughly the same level (or at least within a couple levels of each other). Otherwise, it's tough to make encounters that a low-level character can survive and yet still challenge a high level character. I'm sure some GMs can pull it off well, but I don't consider myself an experienced enough GM to make it fun for everyone.

I understand. I'll talk to him, perhaps his War Cleric can be used somewhere else. He told me that if he were to lower its level, its garbage. I'll bug him about it, see what he'll do. You can still be the GM, if you want.

Ok! How about I commit to being GM for the first adventure? Then if someone else is itching to give it a try, I'll step back and be a player for the 2nd one.

I'll put together a list of the adventures I've got and the group can decide which one sounds the most appealing.

That sounds great! My friend said he would make a new character, a Necromancer. We'll be doing the campaign here, since we can roll die in the posts. There is another person who is going to join, playing as a Bard. I'm sending him/her/it the link now.

A party of 4 is a good size, I think. I'll probably not play my ranger if I'm GMing.

So, necromancer, barbarian, bard, plus Quazar's character (Quazar, are you playing the wizard on your profile?)
