Mary was in her study, reading the latest piece of literature there was. Ever since she was young, the English have wanted her country, and her crown. Mary was the queen of Scotland. She's sent to France soon, to wed its next king. Hoping this would save herself, and her country, she didn't know what lied ahead. Luckily, she knew this new king from her childhood.
There was a knock at the door, she had no idea who it was. Probably a guard, or her future husband.
(You can join in as a guard, or as a king, but only one king for Mary, there can be other kings but you must say who you are, where you're from and what you tend to do in this chat, such as, meet the new king of France, meet the Queen of Scotland, declare war. You can also rp as Queen Elizabeth, Mary's cousin who wants her throne. But like I said, only one of each character.)
