So I've been feeling pretty upset lately and I can't figure out the cause. However I know if I'm upset, doing a dark or deep Roleplay usually helps me feel better, even if just by a little bit. So I've come up with this plot.
This plot will include self-harm, mentions/attempts of suicide, and sensitive topics. I do NOT encourage any of these things.
Y/C and my character are good friends. They grew up together, felt each other's pain, helped each other through family problems, relationship problems, any problem you could think of. Then college came around. They went to different schools, same city. Kept phone numbers but didn't really text to often as they made new friends, new partners, and were busy with coursework.
My character understood that y/c was busy, he had a life. It didn't revolve around her and that was fine. But with no one to open up to anymore, no one to talk to, she tumbled down a spiral staircase into the deepest pit of depression she could. Her father passed away, she was cheated on, slapped by a couple people she knew. She was homeless for a couple months until a friend and her boyfriend housed her. She then got kicked out while she worked to pay rent for her own apartment which she got shortly after the boyfriend kicked her out.
And she decided it was enough. She stood on that bridge railing, the note tied to it. She stared at the water below, tears streaming down her face like its own waterfall.
However at this moment, y/c and maybe a couple of his friends (or not) are walking by, and he sees the familiar face look back, as if debating her choice. Her eyes locked with his for a moment and he immediately recognised her.
She goes to jump, but she feels arms wrap around her waist and pull her back to safety...
