Kristi is a new member of Arizona DPS Investigation Bureau SWAT team after having served as a trainer for DPS for a short period of time, although she continues to train them part-time. Your character is a DPS Detective who Kristi is assigned to serve alongside during non-emergencies to investigate homicide and narcotics cases. Initially, there is friction between the two; my character is sour that she is being ‘downgraded’ to being an Investigative Officer part-time and your character, a veteran detective, is put off by being partnered up with a ‘trigger-happy rookie’. But over time and as they survive more deadly encounters together ranging from serial killers to violent drug cartels, they begin to trust each other.

If you’ve ever played the game Homefront, it’s in that vein. The North Koreans, after taking over South Korea and forcefully uniting the two Koreas into the GKR (Greater Korean Republic), decide to invade the US, utilising the high tech acquired from South Korea, and succeed in taking over the Western half of the mainland US. Kristi and your character are part of the New Minutemen grassroots milita to repel the GKR in the homeland while the US military continues to hold them from taking over the East Coast.

This one falls into a slice-of-life style of RP. Your character, an unhappy, overworked office worker decides to take up shooting as a hobby and goes to his local range to take some classes. He ends up signing up for a class that Kristi is teaching. She ends up spending a lot of time correcting and helping him as he had never shot before and was making a lot of mistakes. In that time, the two become friendly. After his third class with her, the two become good friends, looking forward to seeing each other.
