this is my first time posting on this site but if we are to use a zombie virus of sorts we created. Should I make it its own character sheet or since it is a hive mind virus it just goes into an rp I make?

Some folks create character sheets for settings, to handle general narration and and NPCs in that setting. Some people create character sheets for original races, just to serve as a reference rather than use as a character. Some people keep a collection of related characters (be it family, coworkers, etc) in a single profile (though some folks do find this a little confusing).
These are all things you can do, but you don't have to do any of it. Just if it makes sense to do.
