Melemmohr (played by GrandFinale)

((Kicking off something with my character Melemmohr here and Peripie's Frisk from Undertale, so beware if you're someone who doesn't like UT or Deltarune! OTT: PM to join! If your character isn't native to this universe, such as is mine's case, they'll need to have some sort of reason they managed to arrive here. TEMPORARILY CLOSED))

The snow crunches under reflective, gold-yellow sollerets as the (seemingly) human traveler exited the store, a wrapped Cinnamon Bunny in hand that appears to vanish in a fluidic rush of prismatic light. Her, or perhaps their, eyes glow almost imperceptibly for a moment as they examine the surroundings, bringing a hand up to rub their chin. The stranger looks to the western entrance to the town, as if she was expecting someone to arrive soon, but does not seem to be in any hurry at all.

"A quaint little town, this, if somewhat anachronistic...I suppose a race forced to live underground would have some anachronicities in their designs, no?"

Their direction turns towards a stroll to the Library. A hand is raised in greeting to a passing Snowdrake, whom cautiously reciprocates the gesture.
Frisk (played by peripie)

The warm glow of the friendly little town welcomes Frisk once more. They still bear mild scrapes and bruises from enemy attacks, but they are relatively unharmed. First stop, the store adjacent to the Inn. They fill their inventory with Cinnamon Bunnies and Bisicles, hopefully enough to get them through any upcoming battles. They step outside, reaching out towards the bright star in front of the shop. All wounds healed, HP maxed ... whatever that meant. The child often pondered if anyone else could see these stars.

This wasn't their first visit to Snowdin, and every time they came through, it never lost its charm. No town on the surface could match its atmosphere, its warm feeling of Christmas.

Along they trek, taking in the scenery and soaking in the relief of safety from any battles. But, something was different about their visit this round, something that stopped them dead in their tracks.

Another human.

Frisk stood in the snow, speechless. There was no mention of another human by Toriel or Sans. Surely there would have been word of it from Papyrus as well. They feared to approach. So there they stood, practically frozen.

The figure turns around, as if they'd supernaturally sensed the child's presence. Thankfully, neither the expression nor the movements the visitor made had any sort of ill intent to them, a warm smile meeting the spooked child's apparent fear.

"Greetings! I know I'm an unexpected presence here, but rest assured, I mean no harm."

She, if this figure is even a she for all we know, approaches carefully and gently, crouching down once they get near to bring their rather impressive height - 6'4'', though still quite dwarfed by figures such as Papyrus, Undyne and Toriel - closer to the Frisk's own.

"My name is Melemmohr. What's yours?"

In truth, they already knew the child's name, but chose to give a courtesy to them.
Gunvolt - The Azure Striker (played by Asroc)

He had been travelling for sole time now. In the cold. He sure wasn't dressed for it. The young adept was not a fan of the cold. Not at all. Shivering a bit, he sneezed, causing a small spark from his body.

"Huff..." he softly said to himself.

However, this place seemed rather... quaint?

The villagers of the place seemed odd, but friendly. They were not human, but various creatures. Something you would see from a children's book of course.

"I should look around, maybe find someone?"

That was when the young adept travelled to a small building. Maybe he could ask where he was. None of these beings seemed hostile, so there was no need to aim his gun at these folk.

"I guess I could ask around..." he said to himself. "I guess I can bite the bullet and..."

He paused again as he saw a couple figures, he decided to apporch them.

Their mind scrambles for the right words, some of this confusion obvious in their expression. This human, how did they come here? The only way they knew of how was through the hole in Mt. Ebott. From all that had happened in the past few hours ... perhaps days, it felt like their last encounter with another human was eons ago.

The other's tone felt genuine and kind. Perhaps she could even help guide them home. But they didn't want to jump to such conclusions yet. After what felt like an awkward amount of time, they finally speak.

"My ... name is Frisk. I didn't think there'd be another human here."

Her head tilts slightly, a quiet chortle escaping their throat.

"I suppose I do not qualify as human so much...it is a pleasure to meet you, Frisk. I've been observing your journeys through time and wished to personally meet an intrepid young hero like yourself, so it may not surprise you that I'm a visitor not of this world. My apologies if my presence caused you undue confusion!"

The entity's head turned back upon noticing an approaching aura. They stood back up to turn about and greet the other newcomer, hand to left hip. Little suspicion was evident in either demeanor nor tone, however.

"Another visitor from without? I fear I'm none too familiar, though I know you're quite far from home. Certainly farther than anywhere in this particular multiverse...ah, apologies if I use dense terminology."

A coy smile.

((aaaahhhhh apologies for inconsistent pronoun use, mele uses female in conjuction with its natural neutrality in honor of the previous owner of its current host!))

He was noticed, but neither shown any hostility. That was good...

A sigh escaped his lips as the young male rubbed the back of his spiky hair a bit.

"Yeah, I am far from home... very... far. I kind of dosed off some place and awoke on a patch of flowers..."

So he wasn't a human like they were... he was an adept, a human with powers.

"I am Gunvolt..." he softly said. "..and I... I..."

He felt something coming, a rather irritating thing that was bothering his nose.

"..I... " He then let off a sneeze, which was followed by him rubbing his arms. Upon said sneeze was followed by some sparks.

"Do... pardon... not use to this weather... not with how I am dressed..."

Melemmohr seems to think this information over, a worried look coming over its face some scant seconds later.

"Perhaps..."

She forces the worry down and beckons the others into the inn with her unoccupied arm.

"Come, I believe this calls for warmer accommodations. Not all have my resistance for the climes, such as you lot."

Melemmohr steps forth to open the door, holding it for the others.

He gave a nod and followed on in. A warmer place would be so nice now as well for something to warm his belly maybe.

"Thank you..." he softly said. He was polite about it. At least this being wasn't going to hurt him. He did make friends with some of the beings here, including a dog and a frog.

He glanced at the other which was known as Frisk, he gave a small nod towards them.

They are left without much to say, from allowing Melemmohr to speak as well as take in the shock of meeting another human ... or, human like. They still weren't sure what Melemmohr meant by, well, anything she said. First off, were they really not human? Maybe she was a monster with humanesque features, but that felt like a stretch, even for the Underground. And then there was the mention of them being watched. Through time, no less. They were collecting questions to ask her as they were huddled inside the inn.

The boy also raised confusion, but they weren't afraid of his presence. They return the nod, as weak as it looked.

Melemmohr approaches the shopkeep's sister, the innkeeper, and plants down some GP upon the counter to arrange lodgings for the three travelers. They then turn around and usher the others to the couch so they can talk in comfort, taking their own seat at the far left side.

"I suppose we've all questions to ask, no? I'll see to proffering answers as best I can."

The light in the room grows ever warmer and more inviting, as the temperature rises ever so slightly. Cozy! How did that happen?

He was given tea. Warm tea no less. Did this have a bit of honey and cream? Seemed so. These people were rather friendly after all. Gunvolt smiled a bit as he closed his eyes.

"I guess we all could tell our own tales, right?"
Frisk (played by peripie)

They wait for any response from the young man before asking the first question. Well, perhaps it was questions, as this was nothing like the other timelines.

"Did you two fall down through Mt. Ebott? And, for you ..." they gesture towards Melemmohr.

"What did you mean by 'observing my journeys'?"
Melemmohr (played by GrandFinale) Topic Starter

Never ceasing that smile, Melemmohr regarded Frisk warmly. Honestly, there was a Sans-esqueness to that smile, even if the being seemed a bit more...genuine about it.

"I simply...came here. I am not a being native to this universe, but rather...perhaps some sort of 'oversoul' would be apt, if quite an overly-aggrandizing descriptor. I do not tend to interfere directly in the affairs of other universes, but I do occasionally visit to meet those who stand pivotal to the passage of fate of their worlds. This multiverse - or this universe and every iteration of it, or as you and a certain skeleton would say, all these branched timelines - has been becoming more and more influential throughout the grandest cosmos with each passing day. Truly, I would have visited sooner..."

The light's expression grows more forlorn, a hand gripping tightly at the fashionably tattered sash wrapping around its waist and armor.

"...but recent years have been...trying."
Frisk (played by peripie)

They weren't sure what to make of this information. Of course they had that feeling of being watched during their adventures — which turned out to be true, with Alphys's hidden cameras. But perhaps, from what she said, Melemmohr was this presence they felt watching.

Should they worry? Perhaps they speak up on invasion of privacy, although privacy didn't seem to exist down here. All the child could bring themselves to do was nod, not sure what reaction felt fit in this situation.

"I'm not causing anything that big, am I? This..power I have, I don't understand it, but I've already used it a few times. But I think you already knew that."
Melemmohr (played by GrandFinale) Topic Starter

It looks Frisk directly in the (closed) eyes with a look of pride. Pride in someone else.

"Some may say it unfair for such power to exist, but none can change the fact that it does. And you have used it well. You yourself have caused nothing wrong, but there are certain things here that have had 'echoes' across the grander cosmos. Beings other than myself casting doubts upon their ways when they see the lessons to be learned here, how worlds in entirely different multiverses have begun to interact with ones here..."

A nod and a smile.

"It is fascinating, to put it mildly."

It did feel from Frisk's initial reaction that it had said something untoward without realizing.

((that privacy thing is gonna be awkward to explain, holy))
