November 30th 1939 Early in the morning on the Finnish border with Russia
A pistol shot rings out echoing trough the country side as rifles begine to open up and T-50's start rushing over the border
the Russians advance on the Fin's.
The winter war has started and its up to you to change its course whether you are a Ruissian Soldat or a Finnish Sotilas all you know is that your to fight for your country and to never give up no matter how frostbitten or beaten you are
Russian's
Whether your a normal Soldat, a T-50 Commander or a Kommisar, You are still a soldier of a most likely of a poor background and youve been hammerd in that Russia comes first. Altough you might have doubts sometimes you can see people helping the Finnish who have been injured or trading rations, but none the less you are a Soldier whether loyal or disloyal you are in Finland for one reason and that is to take over land and altough the strategy of the higher ups looks more complex than it has to be you have to follow orders unless you want to get shot or sent to a gulag, and if you see snow speaking finnish, dont worry about it its probably a hidden snowman
Fin's
Your a filthy peasant or a normal citizen who has been conscripted to fight for your country, after the civil war in Finland you despise communism its caused so much strife for you and your people. So the people on the border are a bunch of traitors to you, and again you might have your doubts but now its too late they are breaking trough the border soon they will push in twoards Helsinki.....Altough their strategy looks....Dumb, well no matter defend your country at all cost's and push back the Red scum, and remember your a Guerilla use Guerilla tactics

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?

More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
