This is what I have so far. But need. A partner to work out the final story
The story I will use
the traveling circus would stop crime when nobody around. But there never seen by anybody. But they are rated as one of best circus performances. Butthey each had a skill in like hacking combat or something. They look human but are not and use magic, Yet have undying loyalty to the ring master and circus cause it th3 only place they won’t be hunted down and only place they ever called home. Yet he has favorites who likes more the elite. Who are the main acts
Circus Rp
The elite - his favored 5 allowed
elunaria -me (she going to be his top favorite daughter like to ring master/multiple acts/perfect memory,forbidden/lost magic/spying,combat etc.
Eve-trapeze performer
Cletus-beast master/magic contracts/tracking.
Sienna Redd/18/Dancer but also designer (helps as a stagehand) /Very good in combat;hacking skills
Corrine Vierra/ 18/Girl/Contortionist
Hazely/Girl/18/Elite/quiet, harsh, badass/Skills- Extreme hacker abalities, pyromancer(elementalist) /sword shallower. Cybernetic arm allows for feats of strenght as well as advanced combat skills. Also has a blue mist like aura that acts as a magical shield when she is in danger.

Magic may be accepted as truth but is not common. It might be harnessed only by specific beings. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones.
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
