With the recent teaser for Dragon Age 4 being released and my ongoing interest for the Dragon Age tabletop game, my passion for roleplaying in this universe has been reignited. I would love to act out some adventures and stories in Thedas and building interesting characters. While I have some small plot ideas of my own, I am open to any suggestions people might have or characters that could fit into the setting.
In short, I'm looking for a roleplay partner, who wants to do a Dragon Age roleplay with original characters, preferably semi-literate (just a basic understanding of grammar and punctuation). I don't mind variable post length as long as I'm not consistently given only one-liners to work with. While I'm personally a lore nerd and love to delve deep into the details, I don't expect an eventual partner to be well-versed in the lore and I don't mind taking liberties with established lore either, especially if it makes for a more fun roleplay.
Plot Ideas
Tevinter Slave x Qunari Saarebas
Two individuals, each having experienced slavery for themselves find themselves having to fight for their freedom in unfamiliar territory with their former masters being hot on their trail.
Grey Wardens
Accepting their fate to die fighting the darkspawn is not an option for these two. Instead of waiting for the Calling, they are journeying across Thedas to find a cure for the Blight that could hopefully be a gamechanger for the Wardens.
Chantry Initiate x Templar Recruit
With the Chantry now taking in people of other races, these new initiates are still looked down upon. A templar recruit is tasked with protecting one of these unusual initiates on a journey to retrieve an old artifact which proves to be more difficult than first assumed.
Apostate x Noble
An apostate on the run from the templars is taken in by the child of a noble and remains under the family's protection. But that safe haven is unlikely to last forever.
Mercenaries
The characters travel around the land, taking on odd jobs to get by. Perhaps the past eventually catch up with one of them, or they come across ancient ruins with secrets that were maybe better left alone. Anything could happen.
I have characters in mind for each of these plots, but I expect making some changes depending on the characters and plot invovled. If you favor one character type in particular, feel free to say so! I'd also love some romance in any of these plots, but I prefer MxM and FxF, due to some uncomfortable experiences with roleplaying MxF relationships in the past.

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.
