Hello everyone. I'm Jude. I used to RP a lot in Tumblr, but this platform is dying so I came here in order to find new things. While in tumblr I used to join private groups for marvel rps, family rps, college rps and literary rps. I have been roleplaying for over 10 years... wow, it has been a while. I used to role play only in my native language but around 5 years ago I put up the courage to do it in English as well. OOC I'm a teacher, I like to read, roller skate, draw and cook. I also play The Sims an awful lot.

Hi there Jude, welcome to RPR! As you can see the community here is fun, friendly, welcoming and helpful! If you haven't yet, we recommend browsing the tutorial, it's got a ton of helpful tips and guides for all sorts of different RP-related subjects, from making characters to looking for RP partners--even experienced roleplayers may find things they hadn't thought of, I know I sure did. And if you're still not sure about something on the site after checking out the tutorial, feel free to ask questions of the mods and anyone else who offers to help.

If you're hankering for some specific kind of RP, we have an awesome Find RP tool that has a bunch of neat filters and stuff you can use to look for particulars. If you just wanna browse, you can go straight to the Looking For RP forum and see if anything there catches your eye, or even post ideas of your own!

Or if you just wanna chat for a bit as you decide what kind of characters you want to make, we have a place for Smalltalk too!

And above all...hope you have fun and stick around a while to make a bunch of RP friends! These people being friendly sure helped me decide to stay, too, when I was new!

Thank you all for the warm welcoming. It was refreshing to see such a lively community interested in RP. I am sure I'll have a good time, and I'll PM some of you in case of questions, but so far the website is being so intuitive and the 'tutorials' so well done I haven't come into any problems.

A nice tip to is to check this link, it is the 'browse character link', this is handy cause you can see the most currently active people on the site, see the characters they are refreshing and bringing up to date to write with. Messaging them is like fishing for RP! You might get a bite, you might not!
