You wake up in a padded cell with burned walls and the door ripped off its hinges. Next to you are several unconscious people of varied appearances. You don't know who your are, or how you got in the cell. What do you do?
If anyone is familiar with Escape From The Crazy Place, this roleplay would read like that. Lots of random, fantastical elements set to a darkly comedic tone while you try to figure out what happened. One person will be the gamemaster, leading the other players through a world of its own logic. Players are welcome to respond with either one-liners or paragraphs.

Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.
Further future, perhaps visit mars or upload your brain
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Details: Occasional dice use, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
I'd have to figure out which character I'd use for this, but I'm not familiar with that title, whether it's a book or movie I don't know.
It's basically a choose your own adventure story on the Internet. It's not necessary to know it, because while it's similar to what I'm going for, it's not the actual RP setting.
I see. May I use Sage or Verla? Verla is a strong character and Sage is more of a magical being sometimes, though it'snot on her page, I can always adjust some characters for roleplays.
