Got my birthday present not too long ago.




A box full of 1p coins.

It's been 2 hours and I still haven't counted them all.

Only my parents would make me suffer this way.

Luckily though, Ive counted out £23 so far (I GET TO KEEP IT!) and I've barely made a dent in the box.

My credit union has a coinstar that's free to use for members (like me) dump the coins on the machine and it counts for you. Prints a ticket, then get your money from the teller

Take that parents!

UPDATE!

After 4 and a half hours, I have finally counted every single penny. And apparently, according to my dad, there's one penny for everyday I've been alive. There's 5110 pennies

Thank you! And yyyyeeeees if my mom lets me buy more than one pack of seven oof. She's putting a limit on it, which is understandable, they dont want me to throw my money away, so I just have to find a way to convince her.
