Hello!
I'm an old timer in the rp world, and have been doing written roleplay for coming up to five years. I've grown and practiced on several platforms, including Facebook, Shamchat, Wattpad, Tumblr, and I'd like to open up to more partners here and on Waterfall now as well. I have a Plethora of characters, most of them LGBTQ, most of them at least vaguely magical in some way. I know my genre, what can I say? Fantasy calls to my soul.
Anyways, I really like writing long responses and getting them in return when I can, but as someone who can be a bit lazy, I tend to be pretty flexible on the kind of writing I respond to. Because sometimes Concise is easier, you know? I'm not sure how I feel about this site yet, but I hope it's as good as I've seen so far!

Hi there, welcome to RPR! As you can see the community is fun, friendly, welcoming and helpful! If you haven't yet, we recommend browsing the tutorial, it's got a ton of helpful tips and guides for all sorts of different RP-related subjects, from making characters to looking for RP partners--even experienced roleplayers may find things they hadn't thought of, I know I sure did. And if you're still not sure about something on the site after checking out the tutorial, feel free to ask questions of the mods and anyone else who offers to help.

If you're hankering for some specific kind of RP, we have an awesome Find RP tool that has a bunch of neat filters and stuff you can use to look for particulars. If you just wanna browse, you can go straight to the Looking For RP forum and see if anything there catches your eye, or even post ideas of your own!

Or if you just wanna chat for a bit as you decide what kind of characters you want to make, we have a place for Smalltalk too!

And above all...hope you have fun and stick around a while to make a bunch of RP friends! These people being friendly sure helped me decide to stay, too, when I was new!

I'm kind of like you when it comes to RP responses, I usually try to match at least how much I am given for each response, hahah.

Though in general I have to admit, I actually usually have trouble writing concisely, as you can see by the length of this post.
