Hi.... Im new to this but Ive always loved RP. I actually have a whole RP freeform story planned out.
Would you like to help bring my story to life?
Its a fantasy/ adventure.
Some pg fight but nothing horrible i promise.

Im just excited nervous and..well.. new!

You hear a distant screaming. It grows louder and you turn to see a random teenager with glasses flying in on a brown duck with a green head and an orange bill. The duck crashes with a loud quack and the teenager is ejected from his seat. He crashes into a nearby tree and collapses to the ground. He picks himself up, wipes dust from his body, and smiles at you. “Hey!” he says in a friendly tone. “I’m Karl! But you can call me Magicoal! I’d like to welcome you to the site! Here you can roleplay! With anyone! Kinda. It’s your choice really. Just a warning about me, in case you wanted to know, I walk into walls. And ride a duck. Because why not? Aren’t they the cutest?” He walks over to the duck and pets it. “You’re the best, Daniel! Oh yes you are!” He turns to you. “Oops. Sorry. Welcome to the site! Yes Daniel! You’re a duck! A great duck.” The duck quacks in agony. “That’s right Daniel!”

Hi there Rosa, welcome to RPR! As you can see the community is fun, friendly, welcoming and helpful! If you haven't yet, we recommend browsing the tutorial, it's got a ton of helpful tips and guides for all sorts of different RP-related subjects, from making characters to looking for RP partners--even experienced roleplayers may find things they hadn't thought of, I know I sure did. And if you're still not sure about something on the site after checking out the tutorial, feel free to ask questions of the mods and anyone else who offers to help.

If you're hankering for some specific kind of RP, we have an awesome Find RP tool that has a bunch of neat filters and stuff you can use to look for particulars. If you just wanna browse, you can go straight to the Looking For RP forum and see if anything there catches your eye, or even post ideas of your own! (In fact posting an RP advertisement there will probably get you more bites for partners, as that's what that forum is for.)

Or if you just wanna chat for a bit as you decide what kind of characters you want to make, we have a place for Smalltalk too!

And above all...hope you have fun and stick around a while to make a bunch of RP friends! These people being friendly sure helped me decide to stay, too, when I was new!
