Forums » Help » Chrome extension for bolding dialogue

I have an issue with my eyes where if dialogue isn't put in bold, they tend to over look it/skip it/ miss it entirely. No matter how many times I read over I end up eventually missing dialogue that was important to my reply.

I'm wondering if anyone has come across some sort of chrome extension or something that will automatically bold anything on a page that is inbetween quotes. So anything between "" would be bolded.

I of course can ask my rp partners to do so, and some do - but often time over time they forget, and even though I'm still bolding my own, they just fall out of bolding theirs, and I feel like a burden asking them all over again or reminding them. I also sometimes don't ask people at all for the same reason.
While its hardly an ideal solution, you can copy their post, paste it into a pm to yourself, bold it and then send it to yourself. Then delete it, once you don't need it anymore.

Again hardly ideal, but something you can do until you find a better option.

Yeah having to do this with 7+ rps would be a challenge and likely just end up confusing me. I can already imagine sending the wrong replies to people or missing dialogue while looking for it to bold. Thanks though. :)
I've been trying to think of what sort of extension might allow for, like, a customized rule to do this. I keep thinking about censoring ones, but I don't think that'd work out...

Something else that might help, though, is having your browser search the page for quotes. It won't bold dialog, but it will highlight every " on the page, so maybe that could help bring attention to it? I believe ctrl+f (to "find") should open the search for all browsers on PC.

Thank you for the suggestion! I tried it out, and while it does help a little bit, it also counts on me remembering to do it, and also I can't really keep them all highlighted when I click out of it to write a reply. Hopefully I find something someday haha.
