Howdy strangers I'm looking for conversation about what music you genuinely enjoy for me it's metal through and through what about you guys and gals?
I used to love metal too, and hard rock and classic rock but one day I found myself bored of it. Still I have no idea how that occurred.
Anyway my sister suggested a band called nightwish, I liked them so much I got into several other bands of the same genre which is commonly labeled symphonic rock and symphonic metal. As I descended further into the music I realized it was the symphony more than the rock or metal I was truly enjoying. Suddenly I was listening to classical and opera and loving it.
Somewhere along the line I added something I'm not sure exactly what it's called, I think jpop but I could be wrong. Its Japan's take on rock and metal and it comes out like straight castlevania music, very commonly with violins pianos organs etc so it fit right in with what I now listen to.
