Ok, to make a long story short I like the chubby plus size and fat girls, whatever you wanna call it, I used to have that on my profile but it offended a lot of people...
Obviously, from my point of view, it's not bad cause I like it and junk, but Id like to hear some opinions from people who don't think like me
Is it really that bad to like plus size girls? Am I ¨Scum¨? or do I ¨Stand for everything wrong with society¨? I think those were crazy things to hear but I've heard them when people have found out I like bigger girls, like I said to me it doesn't seem that bad but Id like to know what others think

It's not a bad thing to like women for their size. It becomes an issue when everything you say and do revolves around the fact a woman is fat. It's a problem when women who aren't fat are not seen as equally valuable as fat women. I'm a fat woman in real life too and I've been reduced to my size as a fetish more times than I care to remember. Many men who are really into fat women don't see me as a person who is more than her fatness, and that is a huge freaking issue. It turns me into an object to please another person instead of recognizing me as a human being who has hopes, dreams and skills, who is valuable beyond her appearance.
If you like big women and it's your fetish, that's not wrong cause we don't choose our fetishes, but making everything revolve around your fetish dehumanizes us immensely and is pretty damn bad.

There's a time and a place for everything. Like Aurora mentioned, it can come off as objectifying, though I believe it's especially true for a place like this. It's common for people to put on their profiles what their hobbies are, what music they enjoy, what shows they like. Since this isn't a dating website, adding on a specific type of person makes it look as though they're being lumped in like a "hobby". It sets them apart and isn't entirely appropriate (to me) on a site dedicated to hosting creative writing. I don't think there's anything wrong with preference, it just isn't something I need or want to know about my RP partners. I'm not plus-sized and can respect that as a whole other can of worms, but if I read "I like short-haired brunettes" here I'd wonder, what does my appearance have to do with my characters, or role-play as a whole...?

thank you for your input, I totally agree that it is ok as a fetish but when everything starts to revolve around the fetish its no beuno. I'm not really good about giving feedback about feedback

I thought it was pretty cool of you to ask for other opinions. It's easy to go on the defensive when insulted, like in the PMs you received, it's hard to ask "what did I do wrong" or "why was I perceived this way". Kudos to you for bothering to open up to the community about it.
