Hello there, I'm currently looking to get my foot in the door on this site. By doing that I was contemplating trying to roleplay in my favorite genre, science fiction. While I'm not really a "space and martians" kind of guy, I would like to perhaps roleplay with either science fiction or some slight science fantasy setting. I do both fandom and original ideas.
Magic 40% (Magic is rare, I like how it is in the Sonic fandom with some characters having magic and yet some are firing lasers, or in 40k where I can be a Sorcerer of Tzeentch while firing my bolt pistol.)
Tech 60% (We have plasma, lasers, and even genetically altered super freaks here.)
Combat 90% (Lock and load, but there can be breaks from battle for character development.)

Magic is rare. Some of the players might have it. There may be sages or other magical figures that could be sought out for tutelage.
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
The world IS war, but there may be RPs that don't feature it. Warhammer Fantasy/40k, etc.
