She resides in an apartment too far up to take the stairs in the city she supposedly "protects," and is elusive enough to never have been caught. No one on earth knows about her, except...

I'm looking for a male character in his twenties (20-29, doesn't matter) that will serve as Casablanca's best (and only) friend. She'll have acquaintances, but her only friend is YOU. And you know all about her nighttime exploits. Some details to work out:
-It's your choice if they live together. Might be easier in a story-telling fashion, but it's up to you!
-Romance won't be immediate. Casa is a very cold, unfeeling person. If it seems natural between the characters, it's a possibility, but don't expect it.
-Your character can have his own opinions on the matter, but CANNOT be the type that would tell anyone or go to the authorities. Blackmail is a possibility, but not very likely in this situation.
-Casa will try to convince your character to join her. It's your choice on how you approach it!
ONLY Rules:
-Preferably 18+ partner, though no sexual situations. Violence and gore are acceptable, though!
-PLEASE reply in paragraphs. Even if it's just a couple. I can't respond to one-liners, it's not enough info for me, sorry!

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?

Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
