Well, those of you who know me and have seen the title of this already know that this is very out of character for me
I have never been the one to play a game like Dungeons and Dragons
However, I would like to learn how to do it

Here's one resource you might be interested in.
White Box
It's basically a clone of the original 1974 Dungeons and Dragons. The game has morphed a lot through the various versions, adding a lot of rules, but the simpler, 'old school' style gaming has made a comeback.
