Based on this show, Don't Call Me Crazy. Its a show about a mental ward in Manchester which houses 13 - 18 year olds with illnesses that can be damaging to their own health. I highly suggest watching it.

The building is a large, open area where patients are allowed to interact with each other and socialise. Each person gets their own room which they are allowed to decorate as they please, so long as they have nothing that they can hurt themselves with. It's beautifully decorated, with scheduled eating times.
The staff look after all the patients, and are medically trained professionals in mental illnesses. They schedule to meet twice a week to talk about specific patients and what's going wrong and what's going alright.
Alarms are placed everywhere for anyone who tries to escape.

Patient 567 (Arrived last week)-Sarah Jefferson. Arrived in the hospital around a week ago; still relatively new. Just turned 15. Suffers with major depressive episodes and likes to burn herself and burn things around her. Father is an arsonist in prison, and no other know family. Was found curled up on the side of the street, lighting a dumpster on fire. She also suffers with anorexia, and refuses to eat anything. Mentally unstable. Often has minor panic attacks around any food, and keeps to herself a lot. Not very sociable.
Patient 839 (Arrived three months ago)-Benji Parsons. 16, a patient of 3 months. Suffers from anxiety and major depression. Admitted after his second suicide attempt, the first being when he was 13. Has a fairly supportive, stable family life, but his parents know he's better off in a facility where he can be monitored by medical professionals...and away from his little sister, who found him unconscious and bleeding out in his bedroom. He's generally a quiet, gentle boy, but does have outbursts when he was violent to himself and those around him.
