It took me a couple days to find a website that fit what I was looking for, but the good news is I finally found it here! I'm really into semi-realistic medieval stories and have even been working on a few worlds like that for a couple of years. But overall I really enjoyed what I found so far and I hope I can make some friends.

Nice of you to cast in with us! Friends are found here in such abundance, that most will find you before you find them. Do you like medieval stories center around magic, more or less, than those set more historically?

I find that medieval stories that tend to be more gritty and realistic more entertaining. Even more so when, rather than using magic to make it unique, to use some other form of characteristic to the situation- like god involvement for example.

I love medieval worlds too, although admittedly mine do venture into a higher fantasy setting! Your mention of god involvement though reminds me a lot of the PC game Black & White (I have a lot of fond memories playing them).
