I recently added a new character name Amethyst. She's an alien who live on earth and I want to interact with her more.
So my idea for a rp would be that somehow your character discovers my character after she crashed into earth. And the plot would revolve around her trying to understand earth and maybe even her having to avoid the Men in Black.
The other plot we can do is Amethyst already used to earth life but is on the run from US Government and is trying to just get them to leave her alone. She accidentally drags your character into this when she's seen hiding in your car. Would you help her out or be just another force she has to avoid.
Heck we can even do a plot where your character is trying to prove that she is an alien but somehow amethyst has an explanation for anything, in this one you would be an U.S. government agent

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Far future, perhaps galactic teleporters and fast terraforming
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
