Since the days of old, human beings have always been preyed upon by those creatures that dwell within the world in the shadows. For century's mankind were helpless to the might of the creatures of the night, and it seemed these dark forces may reign forever. Humanity was on the brink of destruction until the intervention of the a clan of warriors comprised of the most skilled fighters, tacticians, and inventors from everywhere around the globes came together with the purpose of hunting and destroying the creatures of the supernatural that would cause
humanity harm. As the centuries passed this clan of warriors became an organization known as The Slayers, a group of men and women dedicated to hunting the supernatural creatures that harmed humans.
Centuries have passed since the founding of The Slayers, and their existence is necessary to keep the human race safe. A experienced Slayer by the name of Mathias Blackwell is one of the organizations top Slayers and has given half his life to the order. Mathias adopts a group of children and trained them in the ways of a Slayer in order to carry on his legacy. Five years have passed since the days of their high-school adventures and many things have happened since then. The leader of the organization has been assassinated by his most trusted associates who ran the order as well leaving it without a leader. The assassins whose motives were unknown have escaped ensnaring many others to abandon the order leaving the city without protection. On the verge of collapse, the others still in seats of power who were left have appointed Mathias as the acting leader. Mathias accepted and has tried to restore order, but has been struggling.
His children have been scattered due to an attack on their home from the same traitors who plotted the coup in an attempt to kill Mathias and the others who held seats of power. Most of the siblings made it out, however, one of them died in the attack. With the order in disarray, many supernatural creatures have come out of hiding and taken to the streets of the city killing and doing as they please. While most of them are causing chaos, there are a select few who have taken sympathy on the humans. They have banded together to form a small militia of supernaturals and humans to restore peace in the order's absence. Mathias has been having a difficult time finding people to trust and with the absence of his children, his list is far and few.
So this is an Rp I participated in a long time ago and I wanted to see If I could bring it back. I hate being GM, but I'll go ahead and give it a try, anyway this will start five years later, past the sibling's high school days. We will start off scattered across different parts of the world, I don't care where you start. after months of being searched for, We will get a message from Mathias urging us to come back. We will find each other separately and eventually meet up back at our old home and from there we will travel to the order HQ and go from there.
I will need a main villain and a commander for the militia, but they will not come in until later on in the story, so please do not ask. Right now all I need is the siblings. As far as characters go, depending on how many people join, I will accept two characters. If a small amount joins, say three or four people, I will accept two characters. More than that, I will limit to one character per person.

2. One paragraph minimum, please no one-liners.
3. First come, first serve
4. No smut, anything NSFW, take it to PMs
5. If you have to leave, please just say so, don't just up and ghost. the same goes for needing to be absent for however much time you need.

Can I do this RP with character? ( since I don’t have an age for him on there, he will be 23) And a weapon would be a long, thin sharp sword.
I don't see why not, just remember you won't have access to it until we get to the Order. If you want to add abilities to it, that's fine as well just as long as it's not too op
Is this rather a modern RP or Steampunk one?
Do you have a minimum age requirement for characters? Also can player characters use magic or not?
No, it's modern and yes, since it is past high school, the minimum age will at least be 18. As far as magic goes, you can use it, but it is directly linked to your slayer weapon, meaning if you do not have access to your weapon, you cannot use that magic
