Lately, I've been having some of the worst headaches I've had in my life. I'm unable to sleep, unable to think straight, unable to do anything except think about the pain

it feels like someone is driving nails into my temples, I've taken so much Tylenol, and done all that I can think of

please give me something to make it go away

Try an icepack. If that doesn't work it'd recommend some kind of heat. (That usually works for me)

If that works, I'd say trying to sleep would help.

As somebody who has severe episodes of migraine I can say that Tylenol won't even ease the pain the littlest for me. I am no doctor but headache is a common symptom for a bunch of different things, from anemia to sinusitis, I really advise you seek a doctor rather than self medicating, specially if the pain is that strong.

I am way past those, cold makes the pain sharper, and heat makes it a dull pain, either way, the pain is still there. And as I said, I just can't sleep, the pain is too much

also is it possible for headaches to cause nausea? because when the headaches began I also started getting very nauseous

Yeah, they can. The only other thing I could say would be agreeing with Seth. It's worth seeking out medical advice from a professional if it really is that bad.

Wait is there noisia and how long has it last.
I dont get headaches real often, but when I do I take 2 naproxen sodium off brand pills and the headache is gone in several minutes. I'm sure it wont be a magic cure all for everyone but it works for me so I decided to share this info with you.
Since different things cause headaches and migraines, there's no one sure fix.

Sometimes it's stress. Sometimes it's diet. Sometimes it's a warning of a more severe health issue.

For my mom, it was aspartame in diet soda that caused the most problems. For me, it's usually stress, too much sugar, or nutrient deficiencies.

I'd suggest going to a doctor. Tell them the severity, and be clear that this is new an unusual for you. Tell them what you've tried, mention any recent changes in your life, but definitely mention this is a change.

I don't think I can add anything more to what everyone else said, definitely go see a doctor! But I could suggest seeing if it is tension related, and if your doctor thinks so too, going to a massage therapist regularly may help.
I often get migraines, and have decided they're tension related, because for a while (when I could afford it) I was seeing a massage therapist almost once a week for a couple months, and it greatly relieved my headaches, and also just my stress and physical strain in general.
Best suggestion would be to go to a doctor, foremost. Frequent headaches, and from what you're describing, it sounds close to a migraine, can have underlying causes.

That being said, some tricks that help me, personally, to assuage some of the headache pain are:

Bananas. If the nausea you're feeling isn't too bad, a banana, specifically the potassium in the banana, can help mitigate the pain of a headache.

Pinch the webbing between your index finger and thumb. It's a military trick an old friend once showed me. However, it only has success with some kinds of headaches, and usually when you catch it early.

The other suggestion I can give for temporary relief is to see about getting a tens unit. For some headache types, it can relieve the tension in the neck and shoulders that cause it.

But a doctor is definitely my immediate go to. Best of luck! :<

Excedrin Extra Strength

2x tablets has 500mg of Aspirin 500mg of acetaminophen, and 130mg of caffeine. With 500ml of water. Works a charm.
Warm showers help expand blood vessels and release tension in your head. Turn up the heat as much as possible without hurting yourself.

Thank you all, I went to my doctor and he said it was most likely work-related stress. I'm going to try taking a few days off and see if that helps it at all
Good luck! If so, I hope you're able to come up with a long-term solution to help you better manage it. Heck, this might even be a place again to ask for strategies, or it may very well be worth scheduling a visit to a therapist to get trained help in creating a personalize strategy. :)
